摘要: Systems and methods for exchanging digital content in an online layered hierarchical market and exchange network are disclosed. A Buyer utilizes one or more Curry functions that are relevant to content to be acquired thereby developing a Margin Future estimate for the received content. Each e-market layer in the hierarchy adds value to the content for use with one or more other e-market layers. Value is added by executing a Margin Function including a Curry function on the content, as defined in the Margin Future. An embodiment includes data, information, knowledge, and wisdom (DIKW) e-market layers. The Margin Future estimate may be recorded with an escrow agent acting as an intermediary with Investors. Once funded, the Buyer may acquire the content from the Seller and apply value added. Payment may be made when the value added content enters the e-market using electronic wallets. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

摘要: Systems and methods for are provided for offloading computing tasks from constrained devices. An example apparatus includes an offload computing protocol (OCP) enabled device. The OCP enabled device includes OCP extensions to the operating system to enable the offloading of computing tasks. A proximity locator may use a radio transceiver to locate an OCP device that can accept a computing task. The OCP enabled device may include an OCP bundle comprising code and data, wherein the OCP bundle is to be sent to the OCP device.

摘要: A piston and cylinder assembly in which the rear end of the piston defines an arcuate concavity opening in the rear face of the piston, a retainer having an arcuate configuration matching the arcuate configuration of the piston concavity is positioned in the concavity and defines a spherical socket capturing a spherical front end of the pushrod of the assembly, and a clip coacts with a circumferential groove on the interior surface of the concavity and an external groove structure on the retainer to fixedly secure the retainer to the piston and preclude displacement of the retainer and captured pushrod from the concavity.

摘要: An apparatus including a positioner that is transitional from a first positioner orientation towards a second positioner orientation and that comprises a bistable member having a first substantially stable state corresponding to the first positioner orientation and a second substantially stable state corresponding to the second positioner orientation. The apparatus also includes a coupler that is transitional from a first coupler orientation towards a second coupler orientation in response to transition of the bistable-member.

摘要: A laser metrology system for estimating the deformation of a structure is provided. The system includes a plurality of laser beam position detectors distributed across a surface of the structure. Each laser beam position detector is intersected by a laser beam and is configured to determine the change in location of the intersection point in at least one dimension. By determining the change in location of the intersection point for each laser beam position detector, the laser metrology system can calculate the deformation of the structure that caused these changes in location.

摘要: A fiber optic signal collection system and method for position sensing or sensing other parameters indicated by light distinctive patterns. The system is particularly suitable for use in aircraft flight control. The system includes a set of fiber optic fibers with first and second ends. The first ends are disposed adjacent a light distinctive pattern indicating a particular pattern such as a relative position. A portion of the second ends are positioned adjacent a light source and a portion of the second ends are disposed adjacent a light sensing electrical device such that light from the light source can be conveyed through the fibers, reflected from the light distinctive pattern, and conveyed through the fibers to the light sensing electrical device in order to detect the pattern in the electrical device. By this means the parameter indicated by the light distinctive pattern can be detected, and the right indication of which can be remotely conveyed through the fiber optic fibers to a conveniently located light sensing electrical device. Multiple parameters can be sensed with a single light sensing electrical device by alternate routing of light from different light distinctive patterns indicating different parameters to the light sensing electrical device.
