摘要: In a lighting device in which planar light is emitted from the planar light emitting surface of a light guide by using a point-source light, such as an LED, the emitted light having a uniform luminance level is obtained on the overall light emitting surface. The lighting device has a point-source light 18 for emitting light in a point-like form. A planar light guide 16 radiates light in a planar form from the planar light emitting surface 16a. A linear light guide 19 is disposed between the point-source light 18 and the planar light guide 16. The point-like light emitted from the point-source light 18 is converted into linear light by the linear light guide 19, and the linear light is guided into the planar light guide 16 through the light incident surface 16b. Since the linear light is incident on the planar light guide 16, the light having a uniform luminance level can be obtained on the overall light emitting surface 16a.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method of producing a positive active material for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery generally referred to as a lithium-ion secondary battery and is intended to provide a method of producing a new positive active material which is superior in both discharge capacity and cycle life through improvement of a complex oxide of lithium and nickel from which a high discharge capacity can be expected. In order to attain this object, a Li-containing complex oxide is synthesized in this method by firing a mixture of a nickel oxide, in which an element M (M being at least an element selected from the group consisting of Co, Mn, Cr, Fe, and Mg) is dissolved as a solid solution, and lithium hydroxide or its hydrate. By using this as an active material in the positive electrode, it is possible to realize a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery which has a high capacity and a long cycle life, and which will not suffer from storage at a high temperature in a charged state.

摘要: Front end portions of respective bands drawn out of two band reels are guided in substantially parallel relationship by means of band guide 11. When the band reel in use becomes empty, band feeding unit 30 is driven in reverse to thereby discharge a rear end portion of the band and, further, a front end portion of other band in stand-by condition is moved to a position of use by means of band changeover unit 20. An automatic band charging device can be provided which enables rapidly replacing an empty band reel with a spare band reel and which has a simple structure and realizes a reduced number of constituent parts, thereby contributing to the miniaturization of the packing machine.

摘要: In a wire saw, it is an object to reduce the variance in width of cut slices of a work as well as the degree of coarseness of the cut slices. A plurality of machining rollers 13 and 14 are arranged in parallel at prescribed intervals, and a large number of circular grooves 13a and 14a are formed on the outer periphery of each of the rollers. In an axial direction of the machining rollers 13 and 14, a plurality of supply reels 23, take-up reels 24 and wires 15A, 15B are arranged. The wires 15A, 15B supplied from the supply reels 23 are wound on the circular grooves 13a ad 14a of the plurality of machining rollers 13 and 14 so that they are travelled between the plurality of rollers 13 and 14, and taken up by the take-up reels 24. The work 20 is cut/sliced by a lapping operation of abrasive grains contained in the slurry which are supplied on the respective sets of wires 15A and 15B which travel between the plurality of machining rollers 13 and 14 in a longitudinal direction over respective halves of the rollers.
