摘要: The method for managing menu functions in a mobile station includes the steps of executing menu edition, selecting menu items the user uses frequently in the executed menu edition, to set up a menu, executing the menu, and displaying the menu of the selected menu items at first. The basic menu inclusive of all menu items the mobile station provides is selected as a last menu item of the mode menu displayed at first so that the user can access to menu items other than the menu items of preference. By providing easy mode menu with menu items the user or manufacturer of the mobile station uses frequently in advance, and displaying on a display window at first, the user is permitted a quick and easy access to a desired menu item without going through many steps of menus for using the desired menu item.

摘要: Provided are extendable loop-back passive optical network (PON) and scheduling method and apparatus for the same. The loop-back type PON includes an OLT (optical line terminal) including a wavelength-tunable optical transmitter and a wavelength-locked optical receiver, and an RN (remote node) including an optical coupler/splitter, the optical coupler/splitter receiving optical signals from the wavelength-tunable optical transmitter and splitting the optical signals by wavelength so as to transmit the optical signals to corresponding ONTs (optical network terminals). Each of the ONTs transmits upstream data to the OLT using the same wavelength as the wavelength of the optical signal received from the OLT through the RN. Since the optical network makes use of the TDM and WDM communication schemes, the optical network can be maintained and upgraded at lower cost.

摘要: Provided are a physical coding sublayer (PCS) apparatus and an Ethernet layer architecture for a network-based tunable-wavelength passive optical network (T-PON) system employing an Ethernet communications technology, and more particularly, to a PCS apparatus and an Ethernet layer architecture for supporting a series of initialization function of allocating wavelengths between an optical line terminal (OLT) and an optical network terminal (ONT) and arranging the allocated wavelengths. A PCS layer transmits and allocates wavelength information such that wavelengths for setting a link between an OLT and an ONT are allocated, optical wavelengths within the ONT are observed while a system operates to allow continuous control so that operating of the system can be stably maintained.

摘要: An address resolution protocol (ARP) processing method for Ethernet matching is provided in which a message authentication code (MAC) request message including IP information is received from another application module and provides a MAC corresponding to the MAC request message, the method including: determining whether a MAC matching the IP information included in the MAC request message is stored; determining whether the MAC request message includes Ethernet over synchronous optical network/synchronous digital hierarchy (SONET/SDH) (EoS) channel information; if it is determined that the MAC request message does not include EoS channel information, detecting EoS channel information that is previously stored and that matches the IP information; and broadcasting an ARP request message to an external host via an EoS channel. The ARP processing method is performed using the EoS channel, thereby reducing unnecessary broadcast traffic packets.

摘要: Non-activated tissue-regeneration polypeptides (TRPs) and the preparation methods thereof are disclosed. The TRPs contain: a protein transduction domain (PTD) making the polypeptides to permeate a cell membrane without cell membrane receptors; a furin activation domain (FAD) which has at least one proprotein convertase cleavage site and which can be cleaved by the proprotein convertase and activate a tissue regeneration domain (TRD) in cells; and a tissue regeneration domain (TRD) which can be activated by the proprotein convertase cleavage of the FAD to stimulate the growth or formation of tissues or to induce the regeneration of tissues. The TRPs can be practically mass-produced by the culture of bacteria, such as recombinant E. coli, and are in a non-activated state before in vivo administration. Thus, their production cost is only a few tenths of the prior active proteins having uses similar thereto, and processes for their separation, purification, handling, storage and administration are significantly simple and convenient. The in vivo administration of the TRPs can stimulate the formation or regeneration of tissues, such as bones or cartilages, or improve the fibrosis and cirrhosis of organs, such as kidneys, liver, lungs and heart by pharmacological mechanisims completely different from those of prior rhBMPs or TGF-β proteins. Accordingly, the TRPs will be useful as drugs having new mechanisms.

摘要: A photoresist coating apparatus, medium, and method for efficiently spraying a liquid photoresist to maintain an atmosphere of ionized solvent vapor between a substrate and a spray nozzle of an upper portion by using a vapor inducing pipe supplying ionized solvent vapor, with the atmosphere being maintained by differently biasing a lower portion supporting the substrate and a plate of the upper portion. Photoresist can be evenly coated over the entire surface of the substrate while reducing the loss of sprayed photoresist droplets.
