    摘要: This invention discloses a clock distribution system which distributes a first clock signal as a reference clock as the reference for the phase and frequency to each processing unit (e.g. LSI) and generates a multi-phase second clock signal to be used in each processing unit by a delay circuit group whose delay time is adjusted. The clock distribution system comprises a clock generation block for generating a one-phase reference clock; a first control loop for comparing the phase of the reference clock with the phase of a feedback signal and adjusting the phase of the reference clock so that their phases are in agreement; and a second control loop including a delay circuit group consisting of a plurality of variable delay circuits to which the reference clock phase-adjusted by the first control loop is inputted and which are connected in series, and means for generating a multi-phase clock signal by use of the output signal of each of the plurality of variable delay circuits and the phase-adjusted referencde clock, controlling the delay time of the plurality of variable delay circuits so as to accomplish a predetermined relation with the period of the phase-adjusted reference clock and applying one of the multi-phase clock signals as the feedback signal described above to the first control loop.

    摘要: A polyoxyalkylene-organopolysiloxane copolymer is prepared by reacting a polyoxyalkylene allyl ether with an organohydrogenpolysiloxane in the presence of a platinum group metal catalyst. In one embodiment, a polyoxyalkylene allyl ether having a CPR value of less than 0.5 is used. In another embodiment, a polyoxyalkylene allyl ether having a CPR value of less than 5 is used and an acid is added for neutralization prior to the reaction. The copolymer can be produced while substantially eliminating solvents and additives or minimizing the amounts thereof.

In the information processing apparatus, a forward network comprising the input layer, the hidden layer and the output layer executes a computation for externally input data to determine the values of outputs therefrom, and a backward network comprising the output layer and the hidden layer executes computation for output values expected for given inputs to determine learning signal values. The information processing apparatus transfers the output values and learning values between the forward network and the backward network to modify the synapse weights of the neuron models.

    摘要: An external additive for electrostatically charged latent image developing toner is provied. The additive includes spherical hydrophobic fine silica particles having primary particles having a particle diameter of from 0.01 to 5 &mgr;m, which fine silica particles fulfill the following conditions (i) and (ii): (i) when an organic compound which is liquid at room temperature and has a dielectric constant of from 1 to 40 F/m and fine silica particles are mixed in a weight ratio of 5:1 and shaken, the fine silica particles disperse uniformly in the organic compound; and (ii) the quantity of primary particles remaining as primary particles when methanol is evaporated under heating by means of an evaporator from a dispersion prepared by dispersing the fine silica particles in methanol and thereafter the particles are held at a temperature of 100° C. for 2 hours, represents at least 20% of the quantity of primary particles originally present. The external additive does not react or has no interaction with an organic photoreceptor and therefore change in quality does not occur or the photoreceptor is not scraped. Furthermore, it has a good flowability and therefore adhesion of a toner to the photoreceptor does not occur.
