摘要: In a network synchronization system, setting information synchronized among plural information processing apparatuses contains at least user information; user operating policy information; first equipment group information that prescribes a first equipment group to which the information processing apparatus belongs; and equipment operating policy information. The information processing apparatus includes a user authentication unit; a storage unit that stores the setting information and second equipment group information that prescribes a second equipment group to which the information processing - apparatus belongs; and an operating policy generation unit that generates an applied operating policy to be applied to a login user. The operating policy generation unit generates, when the second equipment group information is contained in the first equipment group information, the applied operating policy in accordance with the equipment operating policy information corresponding to the first equipment group information in preference to the user operating policy information corresponding to authenticated user information.

摘要: A tinsel wire is provided, which has a high mechanical strength as an electric power supplying conductor wire, hardly breaks with respect to a vibration of the diaphragm, has small dynamic resistance even in a vibrating atmosphere, has excellent flexing characteristics, thereby improving quality and reliability as a product, enables a thin designing of a product, and increases the freedom of the designing. The tinsel wire includes an assembled wire which includes a plurality of element wires each including core threads and a metal foil wound up around the core threads, the plurality of the element wires twisted, bundled or woven together constituting the assembled wire, wherein a cross section of the tinsel wire has a shape of a polygon selected from the group consisting of a quadrilateral, pentagon, hexagon and octagon.

摘要: A method of coating without permitting the coating solution to flow onto the side surfaces or the back surfaces of the lenses in the operation for applying the coating solution onto the lenses. A lens 15 is spin-coated with the coating solution having a particular viscosity. A side edge portion 121 of a spatula 119 is brought into contact with an upper edge portion of a side surface 15a of the lens 15 before the coating solution fed onto the surface of the lens arrives at the peripheral edge portion of the lens. The side edge portion 121 of the spatula 119 is so arranged that the upper end side of the spatula is tilted toward the center side of the lens 15 at an angle of 5 to 35 degrees with the vertical line as a reference. The coating solution applied onto the lens 15 that is rotating adheres onto the spatula 119 but does not adhere onto the side surface of the lens 15.

摘要: A layered product comprising an optical substrate having, on at least one surface thereof, a photochromic surface layer constituted by a resin in which a photochromic compound is dispersed, and an ultraviolet ray-absorbing film of a thickness of 0.1 to 100 μm formed on the photochromic surface layer of the optical substrate, the ultraviolet ray-absorbing film having a transmission factor of not smaller than 50% for a ray of light of 360 nm and a transmission factor of not larger than 10% for a ray of light of 320 nm. The layered product features a very high photochromic light resistance without causing a drop in the color density while effectively preventing the oxidation and deterioration of the photochromic compound.

摘要: A histogram is generated on the basis of the pixel value of an image. An LUT used for changing the dynamic range of the image is generated on the basis of the histogram value in each pixel value interval of the generated histogram. The dynamic range of the image is changed on the basis of the generated LUT.

摘要: An information recording and reproducing apparatus can reduce a time spent on an initial formatting operation performed on a rewritable recording medium such as a CD-RW disk. The rewritable recording medium has a user data area. A track containing a plurality of packets is defined in the user data area by being subjected to an initial formatting process before use so that data is recorded in the user data area on an individual packet basis. A blank, rewritable recording medium is formatted without formatting the user data area so that only information regarding the track is recorded on the recording medium in accordance with the initial formatting process. Time information previously recorded on the rewritable recording medium is read so that recording operation on the user data area is performed by referring to the time information.
