摘要: There is provided a clock transferring apparatus for synchronizing a pattern signal synchronized with a reference clock with a variable clock based on an oscillation source different from that of the reference clock, having a rate clock generating section for generating a rate clock whose number of pulses within a predetermined period is almost equal with a number of pulses of the variable clock within the predetermined period by thinning out the pulses within the reference clock, a pattern generating section for generating the pattern signal corresponding to the pulses of the rate clock and a FIFO memory that stores data of the pattern signal corresponding to the pulses of the rate clock and outputs the stored data corresponding to the pulses of the variable clock.

摘要: In order to provide a fuel pump in which a piston spring arrangement can be made of inexpensive material, knocking noises of a piston are reduced, and components related to the piston are protected against breakdown, a piston-following spring is provided between a fuel pump body and the piston to lower the piston in response to the rotation of an eccentric cam. A pumping member-moving spring is provided between the fuel pump body and a pin connected to a pumping member, and lowers the pumping member when the piston is moved down. The downward movements of the piston and the pumping member are caused by the springs, so that these springs can be made of inexpensive materials, and enable the piston to reliably follow the eccentric cam.

摘要: In order to provide a diaphragm type fuel pump which is compact and assures a stable operation, a cavity is formed in a pump body at a position where the pump body is in contact with a fuel discharge chamber. The cavity is arranged between outer and inner parts of the pump body and perpendicularly extends to a diaphragm. The pump body has a return path communicating with a fuel intake chamber and the cavity via opposite ends thereof. A pressure regulating mechanism is housed in the cavity using a cap attached to the pump body, and is positioned inside an outer diameter of a pump chamber. This prevents the pressure regulating chamber from projecting out of the pump chamber contrary to a pressure regulating chamber of the related art, and makes the fuel pump compact. A valve seat is formed in the cap which is separate from the pump body. This facilitates machining of the valve seat.

摘要: A diaphragm 46 is sandwiched between a first body 16 and a second body 18, and comprises an outer diaphragm 50 which is made of synthetic resin and has an opening 48 formed within an effective diameter X, and an inner diaphragm 52 arranged in the opening 48. The outer and inner diaphragms 50 and 52 are hermetically sealed by a coupling member 54 made of rubber. Therefore, the diaphragm 46 reciprocates as a synthetic resin diaphragm at very low temperatures. At normal temperatures, the inner diaphragm 52 reciprocates extensively via the rubber coupling member 54 compared with the outer diaphragm 50, thereby increasing a flow rate of the fuel pump compared with a fuel pump in which a diaphragm is made only of synthetic resin. When the diaphragm 46 is replaced depending upon a desired flow rate, the second body 18 can be manufactured using one die, which is effective in reducing manufacturing costs.

摘要: An O-ring shaped annular rib (63) is disposed around the outer periphery of a flexible diaphragm member (62), and grooves (70, 71) are formed in first and second resin members (60, 61) for receiving the annular rib (63) in the compressed state. A hollow space is defined between the first and second members (60) for holding the diaphragm (62) in the clamped state. A contact surface (64) where the first and second synthetic resin members (60, 61) come into contact with each other, is located outward of the grooves (70, 71), and is subjected to welding with a supersonic welding tool (65). A gap (76) is formed between the first synthetic resin member (60) and the supersonic welding tool (65), which gap disappears as the welding progresses. At this time, further progress of the welding operation is inhibited by allowing the first synthetic resin member (60) and the supersonic welding tool (65) to provide a predetermined compression for the annular rib (63). Alternatively, a metallic spacer (77) is interposed between the first synthetic resin member (60) and the second synthetic resin member 61 with a gap (78) between the second synthetic resin member (61) and the metallic spacer (77) prior to a welding operation, which gap (78) disappears as the welding operation progresses, until further progress of the welding operation is halted.

摘要: A valve apparatus is small, and regulates a fuel amount by restricting a lift amount of a valve. A columnar portion is formed on a pump body. The columnar portion is inserted into a check valve and a washer formed with a protruding portion which protrudes outward from a flange portion, and the check valve and washer are attached or fixed to the pump body by subjecting a tip end of the columnar portion to thermal caulking or the like. An outer diameter of the protruding portion is set to be relatively smaller than an outer diameter of the flange portion such that when the check valve is sandwiched between the protruding portion and pump body, the check valve contacts an outer peripheral edge of the flange portion when the check valve opens. As a result, a lift amount of the valve can be restricted, and a flow rate of fuel passing through a passage can be maintained at a constant level.
