Abstract:
The disclosure relates to a method for allocating radio resources to a user terminal for performing communication between a radio control entity and the user terminal in a communication system. At least first predetermined radio resources are configured in the user terminal for use in connection with a particular carrier and are associated with a particular format of a downlink control information, DCI, message. The user terminal receives a DCI message of the particular format from the radio control entity. Upon receiving the DCI message of the particular format, the user terminal identifies the first predetermined radio resources associated with this received DCI message, and using the identified first predetermined radio resources for communication between the user terminal and the radio control entity via the particular carrier. The particular carrier can be an unlicensed carrier.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a band usage information generating and reporting method, a charging method, an eNB, a CN, a MME and a UE. The eNB and the UE can generate band usage information for charging, and report the band usage information to the CN, wherein the band usage information involves band usage of at least a first band and a second band, and traffic is assigned to respective bands by the eNB. The Counting entity at the eNB or UE can count the data volume of each band or ratio of data volume via different bands as the band usage information based on the scheduling information of the data. The Charging system located in the CN can process the charging and generate a bill according to the reported band usage information.
Abstract:
The invention relates to transmitting and receiving data in subframes of a wireless communication system. It includes at the user equipment receiving an uplink grant for transmitting data on predetermined resources of an uplink carrier; detecting by carrier sensing whether or not the predetermined resources are available for transmission; and if the predetermined resources are detected to be available for transmission, transmitting data in the predetermined resources and transmitting a transmission confirmation indication indicating that the data has been transmitted. At the receiving side, the transmission confirmation indication is transmitted and based on, the received data is handled.

Abstract:
The disclosure relates to a method for performing a random access procedure between a user equipment and a radio base station. The UE is configured with at least one unlicensed cell having an unlicensed cell frequency, via which the UE performs the random access procedure bandwidth. A minimum frequency bandwidth threshold is defined for transmissions via the unlicensed cell. The user equipment selects a random access preamble sequence for the random access procedure. A frequency bandwidth is determined by the UE for transmitting the random access preamble sequence via the unlicensed cell, the determined frequency bandwidth of the random access preamble sequence being at least the minimum frequency bandwidth threshold. The UE then transmits the random access preamble sequence to the radio base station such that at least the determined frequency bandwidth of the unlicensed cell is occupied.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to transmission and reception of downlink control information in a communication system. In particular, a serving base station transmits to a terminal a downlink control information which includes a first field with a scheduling information and a second field with interference parameters (interference information). The receiver employs the interference parameters for interference estimation used in interference cancellation or suppression.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the performing, by a mobile station, of a PUSCH transmission (3) in response to a DCI transmission (1). Specifically, in case a first TDD uplink/downlink configuration, according to which the communication is configured, is different from a second TDD uplink/downlink configuration, on the basis of which the DCI to PUSCH timing relations are defined (2a), and in case these DCI to PUSCH timing relations define plural timing relations for performing PUSCH transmissions in response to a single DCI transmission (2b), the mobile station applies a pre-stored association (2c) indicating a single timing relation that is to be used for determining the PUSCH transmission based on the subframe in which the corresponding DCI transmission is received (2d).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to transmitting data on a shared communication channel in a communication system supporting multiple hybrid automatic repeat request processes and configurable to apply a bundling of transmission time intervals. The data transmitting including mapping of TTIs of the HARQ processes cyclically onto subframes. In order to efficiently support dynamic bundle scheduling, when a grant is received during a bundle transmission, this grant becomes a shifting grant, according to which the bundle is transmitted and according to the location of which the timing of the grant reception and the data transmission is adapted. The transmission of the shifted bundle is performed in accordance with the state of its retransmission process, i.e. the bundle is either initially transmitted or retransmitted.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to adaptive modulation and coding scheme selection and signaling in a communication system. In particular, a modulation and coding scheme to be used for transmission of a data is selected from a set of predetermined modulation and coding schemes. The predetermination of the set is performed by selecting the set from a plurality of predefined sets. The sets have the same size, so that a modulation and coding selection indicator signaled to select the modulation and coding scheme may be advantageously applied to any of the selected sets. Moreover, a second set includes schemes with a modulation not covered by the schemes of a first set, and which is of a higher order than any modulation in the first set.
Abstract:
A user equipment includes circuitry which selects a random access preamble sequence, and a transmitter which transmits the random access preamble sequence to a base station in a frequency bandwidth of an unlicensed band, and performs at least one of a first operation and a second operation. In the first operation, the circuitry selects a first sequence as the random access preamble sequence, the first sequence having a length longer than a length of a random preamble sequence used for a licensed band, and the transmitter transmits the first sequence in the frequency bandwidth of the unlicensed band. In the second operation, the circuitry selects a second sequence as the random access preamble sequence, the second sequence having a length equal to the length of a random preamble sequence used for the licensed band, and the transmitter transmits the second sequence with repetitions in the frequency bandwidth of the unlicensed band.
