摘要: The invention relates to a method for reporting channel state information from a user equipment (UE) to a eNodeB. In particular, the channel state information report is generated for all component carriers configured by the UE, independent from whether channel state information was actually calculated or not. If no channel state information is calculated for a specific component carrier, then the channel state information encodes information as to the status of said specific component carrier and thus the reason why no channel state information calculation was performed. For instance, the channel state information may encode that the status of the component carrier is deactivated, allowing the base station to check whether a component carrier is indeed activated or deactivated at the UE side.

摘要: A base station device causing no decrease in system throughput and guaranteeing the reception quality at a terminal when a DCI directed toward the terminal is mapped to a PDCCH region and an R-PDCCH region. A search space setting unit (103) sets a search space having a plurality of allocation candidates, in both regions. An allocation unit (106) allocates control information to a resource in one allocation candidate in the search space. The ratio of the number of allocation candidates in the R-PDCCH region to the number of allocation candidates in the PDCCH region in the search space for a terminal using DM-RS in the R-PDCCH region is equal to or greater than the ratio of the number of allocation candidates in the R-PDCCH region to the number of allocation candidates in the PDCCH region in the search space for a terminal using CRS in the R-PDCCH region.

摘要: In a wireless relay method for relaying a signal between a base station and a mobile station, if an SRS is transmitted in a subframe immediately previous to the backhaul subframe, the last symbol of an access link subframe is set as a fake symbol in which the SRS that the mobile station transmits to the wireless relay device is not configured. The signal transmitted from the mobile station to the wireless relay device in a previous symbol of one of the fake symbol is received, and switched to transmission from the wireless relay device to the base station. If the SRS is not transmitted in a subframe immediately previous to the backhaul subframe, the signal transmitted from the mobile station to the wireless relay device is received in the last symbol of the access link subframe, and switched to transmission from the wireless relay device to the base station.

摘要: The invention relates to a new structure of a control channel region within a sub-frame of a 3GPP-based based communication system using OFDM in the downlink. This new structure of a control channel region is inter alia particularly suitable for conveying physical downlink control channel information from a donor eNodeB to a relay node. The control channel region is divided in CCEs that have equal size irrespective of the presence of further cell-specific and/or UE-specific reference signals within the control channel region. This is achieved by dividing the control channel region in plural sub-CCEs that are combined to CCEs all having equal size (in terms of resource elements that can be used for the signaling of control information). The control channel region is divided in the frequency domain and/or time domain in a FDM respectively TDM fashion in order to obtain the sub-CCEs

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for balancing the distribution of interference between radio cells in a wireless communication system comprising cells in which subcarrier blocks are used for communication. A number of adjacent cells build a cell cluster. Moreover, the present invention relates to a corresponding method adapted for use in a system in which multi beam antennas or multiple antennas are used. Furthermore, the present invention relates to base stations performing the above method as well as a communication system comprising the base stations. To reduce the large average SIR variations without causing additional SIR estimation, measurement and calculation problem as introduced with power control the invention suggests to group subcarrier blocks into a plurality of subcarrier block sets in each cell of a cell cluster, to determine transmission power ranges for each of the cells of said cell cluster, and to assign transmission power ranges to the subcarrier block sets to perform TPC within the ranges.

摘要: An ARQ (re-) transmission method of transmitting data in a wireless communication system wherein data packets are transmitted from a transmitter to a receiver, using a first transmission and a second transmission based on a repeat request. The method comprises the steps of modulating data at the transmitter using a first signal constellation pattern to obtain a first data symbol. The first data symbol is transmitted as the first transmission to the receiver using a first diversity branch. Further, the data is modulated at the transmitter using a second signal constellation pattern to obtain a second data symbol. Then, the second data symbol is transmitted as the second transmission to the receive over a second diversity branch. Finally, the received first and second data symbol data symbol are diversity combined at the receiver. The invention further relates to a transmitter and a receiver embodied to carry out the method of the invention.

摘要: The invention relates to methods for transmitting and receiving a data bit stream in a communication system using a 16-QAM constellation. Further, an apparatus for performing the methods is provided. To provide a modulation and coding scheme using a signal space expansion and 16-QAM which improves the bit-error rate in comparison to QPSK modulated signals and still provides the possibility to implement coders and decoders with low complexity the invention suggests the use a 16-QAM constellation with specially selected mapping rules together with repetition coding (signal space expansion) and interleaving of the data stream to be transmitted.
