Abstract: A user equipment (UE) receives assistance data for positioning that includes relative position information for anchor points, such as base stations and/or sidelink UEs. The relative position information may include, for example, distances or angles between anchor points. The UE performs positioning measurements for reference signals received from the anchor points. The UE performs outlier rejection of the positioning measurements using the relative position information. Positioning measurements selected by the UE using the relative position information are provided to a location server. The location server may perform UE-assisted positioning using the selected position measurements and the actual locations of the anchor points. Accordingly, the outlier rejection of the position measurements may be off loaded from the location server to the UE while maintaining confidentiality of the actual locations of the anchor points.

In some aspects, a base station may identify, during a connected mode or an idle mode of a user equipment, a set of synchronization signal block communications, wherein the set of synchronization signal block communications includes two or more synchronization signal block communications; and transmit, to a user equipment, the set of synchronization signal block communications using spatial multiplexing, wherein the set of synchronization signal block communications are each transmitted concurrently using different spatial resources associated with beam sweeping transmission. Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a network entity sends, to a user equipment (UE), a notification of a plurality of direct current (DC) tones of a plurality of network nodes configured to transmit a plurality of positioning signals to the UE, and receives, from the UE, a position of the UE, a plurality of positioning related measurements of the plurality of positioning signals, or any combination thereof. In an aspect, a UE receives, from a network entity, a notification of a plurality of DC tones of a plurality of network nodes, receives, from the plurality of network nodes, a plurality of positioning signals, and determines a plurality of positioning related measurements of the plurality of positioning signals based on locations of the plurality of DC tones indicated in the notification.

Abstract: A method comprises: selecting, from a first number of first receive (RX) beams having a first beam width, a first RX beam to form a first beam-pair with a first transmit (TX) beam from one or more base stations, the selection being based on a first measurement of a first reference signal received by the UE using the first beam-pair; selecting, from a second number of second RX beams having a second beam width, a second RX beam to form a second beam-pair with the first TX beam, the selection being based on a second measurement of a second reference signal received by the UE using the second beam-pair, the second number of second RX beams being smaller than the first number of first RX beams, the second beam width being narrower than the first beam width; and performing a location estimate operation using either the second beam-pair, or a third beam-pair derived from the second beam-pair.

Abstract: A transmitter may be configured to determine a coding rate at which to encode data packets based on a quantity of encoded packets used by a receiver for recovery of one data packet. The transmitter may be further configured to transmit a set of encoded packets generated at the coding rate to the receiver. The receiver may be configured to receive, from the transmitter, encoded packets carrying a set of data packets encoded at a coding rate. The receiver may be further configured to transmit, to the transmitter, feedback indicating a quantity of a set of the encoded packets used for recovery of one data packet of the set of data packets. The receiver may be further configured to receive, from the transmitter, other encoded packets carrying another set of data packets encoded at another coding rate.

Abstract: Positioning of a target user equipment (UE) using a mobile anchor node is supported by providing motion information for the mobile anchor node and/or measurement restrictions. The target UE receives motion information for the mobile anchor node, which may be an ordered list of points or, e.g., a motion path. The target UE may generate positioning measurements using the motion information for the mobile anchor node to determine the position of the mobile anchor node when it transmits positioning reference signals (PRS). The target UE may receive an indication of position measurement restriction if the mobile anchor node is moving. The target UE may receive PRS over a plurality of PRS occasions. The target UE may restrict measurement to only one PRS occasion, may generate and separately report measurements for each PRS occasions or may combine a plurality of measurements using filter coefficients provided by a location server.
