Abstract: A radio frequency (RF) front-end receiver having a passive mixer with feed-forward intermodulation distortion cancellation, or at least reduction. An example receiver generally includes a mixer having differential input terminals and differential output terminals and a baseband filter having inputs coupled to the differential output terminals of the mixer. The receiver also includes common-mode sensing circuitry coupled to the differential input terminals of the mixer and configured to sense a common-mode signal of a first differential signal present at the differential input terminals of the mixer. The receiver further includes a conversion circuit coupled to the common-mode sensing circuitry and configured to convert the common-mode signal to a second differential signal presented to the differential output terminals of the mixer and the inputs of the baseband filter.

Abstract: Various aspects described herein relate to low-loss multi-band multiplexing schemes for a wireless communications system, for example, a 5th Generation (5G) New Radio (NR) system. In an aspect, a multiplexer for multi-band wireless communications comprises at least one tuning component configured to transmit or receive at least one signal within a frequency band that is selected from a plurality of frequency bands. The multiplexer further comprises at least one combining component, communicatively coupled with the at least one tuning component, configured to transmit or receive the at least one signal within the selected frequency band. In an aspect, the at least one tuning component is integrated on a chip and the at least one combining component is not integrated on the chip.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to devices, wireless communication apparatuses, methods, and other aspects of spur suppression in millimeter wave receivers. In one aspect a local oscillator (LO) source is coupled to a quadrature generation circuit having a first output for a first LO signal, and a second output for a second LO signal 90 degrees out of phase with the first LO signal. Each output is coupled to an LO driver, and outputs of the LO drivers a coupled at a first power connection to provide spur suppression associated with a phase difference between the first LO signal and the second LO signal. Similar connections are provided at outputs of first and second mixers for spur suppression.

The apparatus further includes a second mixer circuit electrically coupled to a fourth node configured to receive the LO signal and a second bias voltage, the second node, and the third node. The second bias voltage has a voltage level that is offset from the first bias voltage.
