    Abstract: A headset device includes a first earpiece configured to receive a reference sound and to generate a first reference audio signal based on the reference sound. The headset device further includes a second earpiece configured to receive the reference sound and to generate a second reference audio signal based on the reference sound. The headset device further includes a controller coupled to the first earpiece and to the second earpiece. The controller is configured to generate a first signal and a second signal based on a phase relationship between the first reference audio signal and the second reference audio signal. The controller is further configured to output the first signal to the first earpiece and output the second signal to the second earpiece.

    Abstract: In general, techniques are described for limiting active noise cancellation output. As one example, an apparatus comprising one or more processors may perform the techniques. The one or more processors may be configured to, when an estimated noise level increases, dynamically lowering application of active noise cancellation to at least a portion of an audio signal to obtain at least a portion of an active noise cancelled version of the audio signal.

    Abstract: One aspect of the subject matter described may be implemented in a system for use in obtaining a deconvolved image of an object. In some implementations, the system may include an ultrasonic sensing system configured to perform an ultrasonic image scanning operation including one or more image scans of an object to obtain at least one measured image of the object. The system may include a processing unit configured to determine an initial estimate of a point spread function (PSF) associated with the ultrasonic image scanning operation based on the measured image. The processing unit may be configured to determine an initial estimate of a deconvolved image of the object based on the initial estimate of the PSF. The processing unit may be further configured to determine a refined estimate of the deconvolved image using an iterative deconvolution operation based on the initial estimates of the PSF and the deconvolved image.

    Abstract: A method of audio signal processing includes determining a difference between a first set of filter parameters of a first input frame of an active noise cancellation (ANC) filter and a second set of filter parameters of a second input frame of the ANC filter. The method further includes selectively modifying a duty cycle of adaptive ANC processing associated with the ANC filter based on the difference between the first set of filter parameters and the second set of filter parameters.
