Abstract: A microphone port design for a handheld device is disclosed. The microphone port design includes an elongated channel disposed in a first surface of the handheld device. A microphone port is located within the channel to reduce unwanted noise caused by air pressure build up around the microphone port opening due to coverage of the opening by a user's finger.

The headset device further includes a controller coupled to the first earpiece and to the second earpiece. The controller is configured to generate a first signal and a second signal based on a phase relationship between the first reference audio signal and the second reference audio signal. The controller is further configured to output the first signal to the first earpiece and output the second signal to the second earpiece.

Abstract: Techniques are described for assisting near distance communications. A first device comprising a receiver, a sensor and a processor may be configured to perform the assisted near distance communication techniques. The receiver may receive, from a second device located within a conversational distance to the first device, monophonic audio data representative of the near distance communication. The sensor may generate a sensor signal representative of spatial information of the near distance communication. The processor may render, based on the spatial information and the monophonic audio data, multi-dimensional audio data in which the near distance communication originates in a soundfield from a location of the second device relative to the first device. The processor may next output the multi-dimensional audio data to a transducer so as to reproduce the near distance communication in multiple dimensions.

Abstract: One aspect of the subject matter described may be implemented in a system for use in obtaining a deconvolved image of an object.
