Abstract: Aspects relate to techniques for facilitating sidelink cancellation of an automatic gain control (AGC) symbol of a sidelink transmission. A network entity, such as a base station, may transmit sidelink scheduling information scheduling a sidelink transmission from a transmitting wireless communication device to a receiving wireless communication device. The network entity may further transmit a cancellation indication indicating an overlap between an AGC symbol of time resources allocated for the sidelink transmission and an additional transmission. Based on the cancellation indication, the transmitting wireless communication device may selectively transmit the sidelink transmission.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating phase jump estimation for SL DMRS bundling are disclosed herein. An example method includes receiving, from another device, first information at a first symbol of a first slot, the first slot including at least the first symbol and a first reference signal. The example method also includes receiving second information at a second symbol of a second slot, the second slot including at least the second symbol and a second reference signal, the first information and the second information being repetitions. The example method also includes generating a first reference signal copy based at least on the second reference signal and a phase jump between the first slot and the second slot. Additionally, the example method includes performing channel estimation across the first slot and the second slot based on an aggregation of the first reference signal and the first reference signal copy.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network node may determine channel state information (CSI) for a link with an energy harvesting (EH)-capable device based on measurements of backscattered signals reflected from the EH-capable device. The network node may include multiple antennas and may indicate, to the EH-capable device, a frequency shift to be applied by the EH-capable device to backscattering. The network node may transmit reference signals from each antenna of the network node. The EH-capable device may backscatter the received reference signals in accordance with the indicated frequency shift, and the network node may measure the frequency-shifted backscattered responses to the reference signals to determine CSI between the different antennas and the EH-capable device. Based on the identified CSI, the network node may perform channel selection and/or spatial beamforming to increase received power at the EH-capable device for downlink transmissions to the EH-capable device.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a first downlink control information (DCI) message which schedules a sidelink transmission from the first UE to a second UE on a first set of resources associated with a sidelink shared channel. The first UE may additionally receive a second DCI which indicates a second set of resources which are cancelled from the first set of resources. Based on the cancellation indication, the first UE may modify or cancel at least a portion of the sidelink transmission originally scheduled for the second UE, and may transmit the modified sidelink transmission over a portion of the first set of resources in accordance with the cancellation indication, the first DCI, and the second DCI.

Abstract: The described techniques relate to improved methods, systems, devices, and apparatuses that support spatial reuse for sidelink communications. Generally, the described techniques provide for a user equipment (UE) to reuse resources for receiving sidelink transmissions. The UE may receive a first sidelink control channel that may indicate a set of reserved resources for sidelink communications associated with a second UE. The first UE may decode a second sidelink control channel from the second UE based on the first sidelink control channel. The first UE may determine that the set of resources is available for use based on a result of decoding the second sidelink control channel, a radius of the second sidelink control channel, and the distance between the first UE and the second UE.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support configured reception with sidelink control information (SCI) repetition over a sidelink. In aspects, a receiving user equipment (UE) may be configured to conduct combined reception/decoding of SCI repetitions (received from a transmitting UE over a sidelink) over multiple time-frequency slots at pre-defined occasions (e.g., occasions configured by a base station) to decode a sidelink transmission. In aspects, a receiving UE may receive from a transmitting UE over a sidelink, a sidelink transmission during a reception occasion that includes a plurality of reception opportunities for the receiving UE. Each reception opportunity of the plurality of reception opportunities includes a repetition of an SCI. The receiving UE decodes the SCI by combining the repetitions of the SCI received in one or more reception opportunities, and decodes a data transmission (e.g., a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) transmission) using the decoded SCI.

The first UE may transmit, to the second UE in the slot, the SCI-2-only grant multiplexed with data-only traffic in a first PSSCH transmission based at least in part on the grant-only indicator, wherein the SCI-2-only grant indicates a resource allocation for a subsequent slot. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may utilize opportunistic cooperative relaying to support exchanging packets between UEs without establishing or maintaining beamforming alignment between the UEs. Specifically, a source UE may invite nearby UEs (e.g., helper UEs) that receive a sidelink transmission (e.g., a packet meant for a different destination UE) to perform a single frequency network (SFN)-type transmission to opportunistically relay the packet to the destination UE. The helper UEs may receive, decode, and transmit the sidelink signaling from the source UE without establishing or configuring a relay agreement with the source UE. The destination UE may receive the sidelink signaling via cascading, SFN-type transmissions by one or more helper UEs. The destination UE may respond to the sidelink signaling with feedback information via one or more helper UEs or directly to the source UE.
