Abstract:
Compounds (small molecules) capable of interfering with an interaction between PD-1 and PD-L1, and thereby are usable in treating cancer and/or in increasing T-cell function and/or in treating a medical condition associate with PD1, PD-L1 and/or T-cell function on cells, pharmaceutical compositions and kits comprising same and uses thereof, are provided.
Abstract:
A polymeric nanoparticle is disclosed which comprises: (i) at least one disease-associated antigen which is capable of producing a T-cell response, wherein the disease-associated antigen is encapsulated in the nanoparticle; (ii) at least one adjuvant; and (iii) a dendritic cell targeting moiety which is attached to the outer surface of the nanoparticle. Use of the nanoparticle for treating diseases associated with abnormal cell growth or an infection is also disclosed.
Abstract:
Polymeric conjugates of a polymeric backbone formed of a plurality of backbone units and having attached to portions of the backbone units two or more therapeutically active agents, or one or more therapeutically active agents and a NCAM targeting moiety, are disclosed. Uses of such polymeric conjugates in treating and/or monitoring cancer and/or medical conditions associated with angiogenesis are also disclosed.
Abstract:
Polymeric systems useful for theranostic applications are disclosed. The polymeric systems comprise a fluorescent or fluorogenic moiety and a therapeutically active agent, each attached to the same or different polymeric moiety. The polymeric systems are designed such that a fluorescent signal is generated in response to a chemical event, preferably upon contacting an analyte (e.g., an enzyme) that is over-expressed in a diseased tissue or organ. Probes useful for inclusion in such polymeric systems, processes of preparing such probes and the polymeric systems, and uses thereof in diagnostic and/or theranostic applications are also disclosed.

Abstract:
Dioxetane-based chemiluminescence probes, more specifically fluorophore-tethered dioxetane-based chemiluminescence probes and π* acceptor group-containing dioxetane based chemiluminescence probes can be included in compositions. The chemiluminescence probes are useful for both diagnostics and in vivo imaging.
Abstract:
Polymeric conjugates comprising a polymeric matrix having associated therewith an agent that down-regulates an activity or expression of a polypeptide associated with onset or progression of melanoma, and optionally and preferably, an additional agent that acts in synergy with said agent, are provided. Synthetic methodologies for preparing these conjugates and uses thereof in treating melanoma and other cancerous diseases are also provided.
Abstract:
Polymeric conjugates comprising a polymeric backbone having attached thereto a bone targeting moiety and a therapeutically active agent, wherein the bone targeting moiety is attached to one end of the polymeric backbone via a branching unit such that a molar ratio of the bone targeting moiety to the polymer is at least 2:1, are disclosed. Pharmaceutical compositions containing these conjugates and uses thereof in the treatment of bone related disorders are also disclosed.
Abstract:
Conjugates of polymers or copolymers having attached thereto an anti-angiogenesis agent and a bisphosphonate bone targeting agent, and processes of preparing same, are disclosed.Pharmaceutical compositions containing these conjugates and uses thereof in the treatment of bone related disorders are also disclosed.
