摘要： A method of ordering the delivery of a media stream to a client terminal coupled to an IP network is described. The method comprises identifying, at a user terminal (e.g. a mobile device), destination address information for the client terminal. The user terminal is authenticated to an application server of an IP Multimedia Subsystem network, and the destination address information is sent from the user terminal to the application server. The media stream is then sent to the client terminal. This enables the media to be delivered to the client terminal on the basis of the authentication of the user terminal.

摘要： A policy controlled bearer service for delivery of a service from an application function (to a mobile terminal is set up. A terminal identity of the mobile terminal may be used to bind to applicable policy information when setting up the bearer service. This obviates the need to transmit specific binding information to the mobile terminal during application layer signaling for the purpose of policy controlled bearer service set-up. The terminal identity is registered in a register of a policy decision function along with policy identifying information. When a bearer service activation request is received from the mobile terminal the request is mapped to applicable policy information by means of the terminal identity and the matching registration in the register of the policy decision function.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method and arrangements for determining charging related to a data bit transfer session from a traffic source (209) to a client (213), said bit transfer session involving bit transfer over a wireless communications link (214f) under the control of a radio resource managing unit (204). According to the method of the present invention the radio resource managing unit (204) sends information regarding the bandwidth on the wireless link that the bit transfer session currently is allowed to use to a charging logic (212). This bandwidth information from the radio resource managing unit (204) is used by the charging logic (212) to determine the charging related to the bit transfer session. Thereby a fair charging of the session may be achieved, which is adapted to the quality of service actually obtained by the end-user for the session.

摘要： A system and method has been disclosed for controlling the transmission flow rate of data bits in a data bit transfer session from a serving entity to a client, the session involving bit transfer over a wireless communications link, the method comprising: setting up the session, included establishing the addressing, by providing a radio control node to establish flow rate parameters relating to the wireless link, monitoring the wireless communication link; based on monitoring, sending new flow rate parameters so that the serving entity can update the transmission rate of the session in accordance with the new rate control parameters.

摘要： A method of generating on a display device an electronic program guide for broadcast channels. Electronic program guide information for a plurality of broadcast channels is received at an electronic terminal from a broadcast media server. The electronic program guide information includes live video streams and/or snapshot pictures from programs that are presently being broadcast on a plurality of broadcast channels. A graphical arrangement of a plurality of objects is generated on the display device. Each of the objects is associated with a different one of the broadcast channels. The live video stream and/or the snapshot picture from the program that is presently being broadcast on the associated broadcast channel is displayed on a defined surface of each of the associated objects. A three-dimensional graphical arrangement may be generated from the objects. Each of the objects may extend with a respective virtual depth into the display device that is controlled to indicate to a user how much time remains in the program that is presently being broadcast on the associated broadcast channel. Related electronic terminals and media servers are disclosed.

摘要： A method and arrangement for enabling access to a home device in a private network from a remote device located outside the private network. The private network includes a multimedia gateway connected to a multimedia service network. A session invite message is sent from the remote device to the multimedia gateway. In response, connection parameters of a residential gateway in the private network are sent to the remote device, which are associated with the selected home device if a home device identification was included in the received message, or with a proxy function in the multimedia gateway capable of providing home device information, if no such identification was included in the received message. In this way, home devices in the private network can be easily and safely accessed remotely.
