The method comprises the steps of: wirelessly receiving incoming caller information via the telecommunications network, determining based on the caller information, if there is additional information in the contacts database associated with the caller, determining if the local network is the same as a predefined network, and if the local network is the same as the predefined network perform the steps of: creating a message (19) comprising some of the received caller information and at least some of the additional information, sending the message to the displaying device to enable the displaying device to show the additional information comprised in the message.

During an ongoing communication session, at least one client terminal utilizes services provided via a network node, and initial quality of service parameters are used. In the process of responding to a content request originating from the client terminal, it is determined if a delivery of the response to the content request would benefit from a modification of quality of service parameters. If the modification is determined to be beneficiary, a modification 520 of quality of service parameters for use in the response to the content request is initiated.

The multimedia gateway includes: connecting means for connecting to the private network and a multimedia service network, first receiving means for receiving authentication information from the remote device over the private network, storing means for storing the authentication information in a memory, second receiving means for receiving a session invite message from the remote device over the multimedia service network, the session invite message including authentication information, and authenticating means for authenticating the remote device by determining whether or not the authentication information included in the session invite message has been stored in the memory by the storing means.

摘要： A method and arrangement for enabling access to a home device in a private network from a remote device located outside the private network. The private network includes a multimedia gateway connected to a multimedia service network. A session invite message is sent from the remote device to the multimedia gateway. In response, connection parameters of a residential gateway in the private network are sent to the remote device, which are associated with the selected home device if a home device identification was included in the received message, or with a proxy function in the multimedia gateway capable of providing home device information, if no such identification was included in the received message. In this way, home devices in the private network can be easily and safely accessed remotely.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method and arrangements for controlling transmission of data bits in a bit transfer session for transmitting data information from an application server (2) to a client (1), said bit transfer session involving bit transfer over a wireless communications link by means of a transport protocol with a flow control mechanism. According to the present invention a radio resource managing unit (6) sends information regarding the bandwidth on the wireless link that the bit transfer session currently is allowed to use. This feedback information from the radio resource managing unit is used to set and update flow control parameters continuously throughout the session. Thereby optimization of the flow control parameters is facilitated, which makes it possible to enhance the end-user QoS and provide more efficient use of available radio resources.

A plurality of the video streams are received at the electronic terminal from the media server. When a local registration request is received (2:2) from a first local device (A), a mapping or association of a corresponding identification of the first local device to a first public identity which is valid in the multimedia services network, is stored (2:3) in the home gateway. The first public identity is then registered (2:4) together with the identification of the first local device in the multimedia services network for the first local device. Any incoming call or session request referring to the first public identity will be directed by the multimedia services network to the first local device. Thereby, the home gateway can be made less complex.
