摘要： A wire protocol provides message formats for creating multiple network connections between a media server and a client. These multiple network connections may include a control link connection for passing control information and a data funnel connection for passing data of multiple media. The data funnel connection may be a multipoint-to-point connection that connects multiple data servers with the client. The protocol facilitates multiple requests being concurrently outstanding and asynchronous processing of requests. The protocol is designed to exist on top of a transport protocol layer.

摘要： An online service provides detection of tampering of game data. During game play, the service provides challenges to inspect select data in memory of a game device. A challenge includes an executable program that is configured to locate select data and analyze the select data for tampering. Upon locating the select data, the challenge computes cryptographic hash values from the located select data and returns those hash values to the online game service, where they are compared against expected hash values to determine whether data tampering has occurred on the game device. If the cryptographic hash values match, the service allows online gaming to continue. If the cryptographic hash values do not match, the service discontinues online gaming by terminating the game session for example.

摘要： A dispenser for dispensing articles such as hospital bed linens or garments. In various embodiments, the dispenser includes a wheeled storage cartridge defining an interior portion for receiving items to be distributed from the dispenser and a wheeled dispenser portion defined by a control system and one or more access doors. The storage cartridge and dispenser portion are configured to operatively engage each other so that an open face of the storage cartridge is aligned with the access doors of the dispenser portion. When in a first, closed position, the access doors are configured to prevent unauthorized access to the articles stored within the storage cartridge. The access doors may be moved into a second, open position to allow a user access to the interior portion of the storage cartridge. Access to the storage cartridge may be controlled by a control system associated with the dispenser portion.

Each barcoded ticket includes a document-identifier or ticket number that identifies the barcoded ticket. At least one specific document-identifier is inputted by the operator to search for a specific document in a stack of documents. Each of the documents are transported, one at a time, past a detector, which detects the document-identifier of each ticket. A determination is made whether a detected document-identifier matches the specific document-identifier requested by the operator, and if so, the ticket in question is directed to a pre-programmed or user-specified output receptacle.
