Abstract: A bicycle controller includes an electronic control unit controlling output of a motor that assists in propelling of a bicycle based on a manual driving force input to the bicycle. The electronic control unit further configured to control the motor in any one of operation modes including first, second and another operation modes, which control the output of the motor based on the manual driving force. The other operation mode excludes the first and second operation modes. In the first operation mode, the upper limit of output torque of the motor is a first value. In the second operation mode, the upper limit of output torque of the motor is a second value, which is 1.5 times or more than the first value. In the other operation mode, the upper limit of the output torque of the motor is the first value or less, or the second value or greater.

Abstract: A bicycle component fixing structure includes at least one bracket including at least one connecting portion and at least one fixing portion. The connecting portion is connected to the bicycle component. The fixing portion extends from the connecting portion and is fixed with respect to an outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical portion having an open end. The fixing portion includes at least one inner surface that opposes an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion, and at least one outer surface that faces in the opposite direction from the inner surface. The fixing portion is fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion by a pressing force that acts on the outer surface. The bracket fixes the bicycle component to the open end of the cylindrical portion, in a state in which the fixing portion is fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion.

Abstract: A bicycle control apparatus is basically provided with a first gear changing device, a second gear changing device, a power supply sensor and a gear shift controller. The first gear changing device has a plurality of first shifting positions. The second gear changing device has a plurality of second shifting positions. The power supply sensor detects a power level of a power supply that is configured to supply power to at least one of the first and second gear changing device. The gear shift controller is programmed to cooperatively control the first and second gear changing devices, the gear shift controller being further programmed to individually control the first and second gear changing devices when the power level detected by the power supply sensor is lower than a first power level.

Abstract: A bicycle shift notification apparatus is provided with a transmission state determining component, a bicycle derailleur and a controller. The transmission state determining component determines a current operating state of a bicycle transmission having a plurality of speed stages. The bicycle derailleur produces a notification based on a determination of the current operating state by the transmission state determining component. The controller is operatively coupled to the bicycle derailleur. The controller activates the bicycle derailleur to produce the notification in accordance with a preselected notification pattern based on determining that a predetermined condition exists. A sound is produced by actuation of the bicycle derailleur.
