[Object] To provide a wireless communication device and a wireless communication method capable of reducing an inequality of transmission opportunities occurring when a carrier sense level is changed.[Solution] A wireless communication device includes: a wireless communication unit configured to perform wireless communication with another device; and a control unit configured to set a first carrier sense level and control a parameter used by the wireless communication unit to transmit data based on a comparison result between the set first carrier sense level and a second carrier sense level which is a default.

Security is simply and safely secured when communication is performed by an information processing device including: a communication unit configured to wirelessly communicate with another terminal; an identification information acquisition unit configured to acquire first identification information that is acquired through the communication unit and encrypted for specifying the other terminal, and that is decrypted with a first decryption key managed in a network service; and a key acquisition unit configured to acquire a first encryption key associated with the first identification information in the network service when second identification information for specifying an own terminal is associated with the first identification information in the network service. The communication unit transmits information encrypted with the acquired first encryption key to the other terminal.

Random access operation is performed under a communication environment in which a plurality of communication modes having different transmission rate coexist with small overhead. A high-grade communication station spoofs information of a packet length and a rate in a decoding portion so that a value of (packet length)/(rate) corresponds to a duration where the communication is hoped to be stopped. The other station receiving the spoofed information receives the rest of the packet with the designated rate during the interval designated by the value of (packet length)/(rate). In this case, the packet length and the rate are not those of actually transmitted packet so that this packet is discarded.

In order to solve problems arising when a communication system such as a wireless LAN is constructed as a decentralized distributed type network without a relationship of control station and controlled stations such as a master station and slave stations, in a wireless communication system composed of a plurality of communication stations without a relationship of control station and controlled stations, respective communication stations transmit beacons with information concerning a network written thereon with each other to construct the network, and it becomes possible to make sophisticated judgment such as communication states of other communication stations by those beacons.

To suitably perform information transfer, while suppressing interference to other terminal stations, and preventing a reduction of a transmission opportunity of other terminal stations.A terminal station estimates a distance of another terminal station (within a receivable range), from an MCS or RSSI, for example, and controls a transmission power of itself, in accordance with a value weighted with respect to distance. For example, in the case where it is estimated that a number of terminal stations with a far distance has increased, from the value weighted with respect to distance, a transmission power of itself is lowered. As a result of this, transmission by multi-hop is explicitly performed, and it is possible to suppress electric wave interference of a multi-hop destination.
