Abstract: A display device includes subpixels arranged in a first direction and a second direction, where each of the subpixels includes an emission area and a sub area arranged in the first direction therein, electrodes extending in the first direction across the emission area and the sub area, where the electrodes includes a first electrode, a second electrode spaced apart from the first electrode in the second direction, a third electrode disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode, and a fourth electrode spaced apart from the third electrode in the second direction with the first electrode interposed therebetween, first light emitting elements disposed on the first electrode and the fourth electrode, and second light emitting elements disposed on the second electrode and the third electrode. A length of the third electrode in the first direction is smaller than a length of the first electrode in the first direction.

The optical layer may fill the opening of each of the first to fourth insulating layers in at least the emission area.
