    Abstract: An electronic device includes at least one communication circuit, at least one microphone, at least one processor operatively connected to the at least one communication circuit and the at least one microphone, and at least one memory operatively connected to the at least one processor. The at least one memory is configured to store instructions. The at least one processor is configured to store intent masking information that defines an utterance processing target for at least one intent, in the memory. When an utterance indicating a speech based intelligent assistance service through the at least one microphone is received, the at least one processor is configured to determine that a processing target of the received utterance is one of the electronic device or a server connected through the at least one communication circuit, based on the intent masking information.

    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a communication module, a memory and a processor operatively connected to the communication module and the memory, wherein the processor can be configured to receive, from a cloud server, through the communication module, a trigger event sensed by a first external device and rule information in which at least one from among a rule set, destination, and an operation command corresponding to the trigger event is mapped, so as to store same in a local rule database of the memory, receiving the trigger event from the first external device through the communication module, confirm, from the local rule database, the rule information mapped to the received trigger event, and transmit, to a second external device, through the communication module, information related to the trigger event on the basis of the confirmed rule information.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a system. A system according to an embodiment includes: a first electronic device which includes a wireless communication circuit, a microphone, and a speaker, at least one processor which is a part of the first electronic device or remotely communicates with the electronic device; and at least one memory which resides on the first electronic device or on the outside of the first electronic device while operatively connected with the at least one processor, wherein the memory can store instructions which, when executed, cause the processor to: receive through the microphone a voice input including a request for performing a task that uses the first electronic device and is related to the transmission of data to a second external device; extract at least one parameter from the voice input; perform the task by using the wireless communication circuit; and transmit at least a portion of the at least one parameter to the second external device.
