Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a wireless transmission circuit for transmitting power to a power reception device, and a first processor. When entering a power reduction mode, with respect to a first voltage and a first current being output from the wireless transmission circuit, the first processor includes, in case that the power reception device is in an align state, lower a voltage of the wireless transmission circuit to a second voltage lower than the first voltage and lower a current flowing in the electronic device to a second current lower than the first current, and, in case that the power reception device is in a misalign state, lower a voltage of the electronic device to a third voltage lower than the second voltage and lower a current flowing in the wireless communication circuit to a third current lower than the second current.

Abstract: An electronic device according to various embodiments include a sensor, a first magnetic element which can be rotated to have a polarity of a first pole or a second pole in a first direction, and a processor. When the first magnetic element is aligned in the first direction by a magnetic force generated due to the approach of a second magnetic element included in an external electronic device, the processor is configured to identify the strength of the magnetic force and the polarity of the first magnetic element corresponding to the magnetic force by means of the sensor, select any one of a plurality of power transmission methods on the basis of the strength of the magnetic force and the polarity, and transmit power to the external electronic device wirelessly on the basis of the power transmission method.

Abstract: An electronic device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure includes a conductive coil, a power generation circuit, and one or more processors operatively connected to the power generation circuit and may be configured to: compare an amount of transmission power to be supplied to a power reception device with designated threshold power amount, determine a designated frequency to be a frequency of a control signal for controlling the power generation circuit when the amount of transmission power is equal to or less than the designated threshold power amount, determine a phase of the control signal based at least in part on the amount of transmission power and/or the designated frequency when the designated frequency is determined to be the frequency of the control signal, transmit the control signal having the designated frequency and the phase to the power generation circuit to generate, based at least in part on the control signal, transmission power corresponding to the amount of transmission power, and supply the transmission power generated by the power generation circuit to the power reception device wirelessly via the conductive coil.

Abstract: Various embodiments related to electronic devices are set forth herein. According to an embodiment, an electronic device comprises a coil, a power transmitting circuit electrically connected with the coil, a sensing circuit, and a control circuit. The control circuit is configured to wirelessly output, using the power transmitting circuit, a first designated power through the coil to an external electronic device, and identify, using the sensing circuit, first energy detected at the coil due to a foreign object of the electronic device. The control circuit is further configured to, when a magnitude of the energy falls within a first designated range, output, using the power transmitting circuit, a second designated power to the external electronic device, and when the magnitude of the energy falls within a second designated range, abstain from outputting the power to the external electronic device using the power transmitting circuit. Other embodiments are possible as well.
