The image processing apparatus according to an exemplary embodiment includes a memory, and a processor configured to obtain a High Dynamic Range (HDR) image by using a plurality of images having different brightness stored in the memory, and correct chromaticity for each pixel group including at least one pixel with respect to the obtained HDR image, wherein the processor is configured to identify an image to be used for chromaticity correction among the plurality of images for each pixel group and correct the chromaticity for each pixel group by using the identified image.

The image processing apparatus of the present invention comprises: an image receiving unit for receiving a first image and a second image of the same object taken at different times; a processor for obtaining transformation information by registering the first image on the basis of the second image, obtaining a first segment image corresponding to an area of the object from the first image, and generating a second segment image corresponding to an area of the object of the second image by transforming the obtained first segment image according to the transformation information; and an output unit for outputting the second segment image.

A computed tomography (CT) apparatus includes a reconstruction unit which reconstructs a first CT image corresponding to a field of view (FOV) by using a first sinogram acquired by a CT scan of an object; and a correction unit which acquires a second sinogram by performing forward projection on the first CT image and acquires a second CT image by using the second sinogram and a third sinogram representing a portion of the object that is not included in the FOV. Thus, the CT apparatus reduces generation of image errors to thereby provide a high-quality reconstructed CT image.

Provided is a medical image processing apparatus including: a data acquisition unit configured to respectively acquire a plurality of medical images representing an object including at least one target at a plurality of different time points; and an image processor configured to generate, based on the acquired plurality of medical images, a diagnostic image showing a degree of change that has occurred in the at least one target over the plurality of different time points.
