Disclosed are an image processing apparatus, an image processing method and a recording medium thereof, the image processing apparatus including: a storage configured to store standard information about at least one anatomical entity; and at least one processor configured to detect regions corresponding to a plurality of anatomical entities based on a medical image obtained by scanning an object including the plurality of anatomical entities, to estimate a volume of a first anatomical entity at a predetermined point in time based on object information measured from the detected regions of the anatomical entity and the standard information stored in the storage, and to provide information about condition of the first anatomical entity based on the estimated volume. Thus, it is possible to make a diagnosis more simply and accurately by determining condition information of an anatomical entity at a point in time for the diagnosis based on a randomly taken medical image.

Provided are a method and apparatus for processing a magnetic resonance (MR) image of an object including first and second materials on a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) apparatus by using multi-parameter mapping including applying to the object a plurality of radio frequency (RF) pulses separated by a first repetition time and a second repetition time, the first repetition time and the second repetition time being determined based on the first material and the second material; undersampling first MR signals corresponding to the first material and second MR signals corresponding to the second material in a K-space; and performing matching between the undersampled first and the undersampled second MR signals and a signal model for the multi-parameter mapping to determine attribute values corresponding to the first and the second materials at at least one point in an MR image of the object.

An image processing method of a display apparatus is disclosed. The image processing method includes analyzing a plurality of image frames constituting a virtual reality image and determining shake information of a camera which photographs the VR image, calculating a shake correction value of an image corresponding to a viewing area of a user from the VR image based on the shake information of the camera, and adjusting the viewing area based on the shake correction value and displaying an image corresponding to the adjusted viewing area in the VR image.

The method for projection and back-projection includes the steps of: projecting the center of a detector cell included in a detection unit onto a common axis; mapping the boundaries of pixels in a pixel grid onto the common axis; projecting the center of the detector cell included in the detection unit onto the set common axis; and determining a pixel value on the basis of the step for mapping the boundaries of pixels onto the set common axis.
