Abstract: Provided are an electronic device capable of providing text information corresponding to a user voice through a user interface and a method of controlling the electronic device. Specifically, an electronic device according to the present disclosure, when an image including at least one object is obtained, analyzes the image to identify the at least one object included in the image, and when a user voice is received, performs voice recognition on the user voice to obtain text information corresponding to the user voice, then identifies an object corresponding to the user voice among the at least one object included in the image, and displays a memo user interface (UI) including text information on an area corresponding to the object identified as corresponding to the user voice among areas on a display.

Abstract: A triboelectric generator includes a first electrode and a second electrode spaced apart from each other, a first charging part on the first electrode, a second charging part on the second electrode, and a grounding unit. The first charging part and the second charging part may be configured to contact each other through a sliding motion. The grounding unit may be configured to intermittently connect a charge reservoir to the second charging part. The grounding unit may be configured to vary the electric potential of the second charging part so as to amplify current flowing between electrodes of the triboelectric generator.

Abstract: A delay locked loop includes a delay line, a delay circuit, a phase detector, a delay code generator, and a delay controller. The delay line may delay an input clock signal in units of unit delay in response to a delay control code to generate an output clock signal. The delay circuit may delay the output clock signal to generate a delay clock signal. The phase detector may compare the input clock signal and the delay clock signal to generate a phase detection signal. The delay code generator may compare the input clock signal and the delay clock signal to detect a phase difference therebetween, and generate a delay code using the phase difference. The delay controller may generate the delay control code using the delay code and the phase detection signal.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for authenticating a user based on an utterance input includes obtaining an input audio signal based on the utterance input of the user; obtaining, from the input audio signal, at least one audio signal of an utterance section and at least one audio signal of a non-utterance section; generating environment information indicating an environment in which the utterance input is received, based on the at least one audio signal of the non-utterance section; obtaining a result of a comparison between the generated environment information and registration environment information indicating an environment in which a registration utterance input corresponding to a previously registered registration audio signal corresponding to the user is received; adjusting an authentication criterion for authenticating the user based on the result of the comparison; and authenticating the user based on the adjusted authentication criterion and the input audio signal.

Abstract: A speech recognition method includes receiving a first multi-channel audio signal; obtaining at least one of a speech signal characteristic or a noise signal characteristic for at least one frequency band of frequency bands corresponding to channel audio signals included in the first multi-channel audio signal; generating a signal with an enhanced speech component by performing beamforming on the first multi-channel audio signal based on the speech signal characteristic, a speech signal characteristic obtained for a previous frame that was obtained before a certain time that the first multi-channel audio signal was obtained, and the noise signal characteristic; determining whether the enhanced speech component includes a wake word; and based on determining that the enhanced speech component includes the wake word: activating a speech recognition operation based on the signal with the enhanced speech component.
