    摘要: A method and apparatus is shown for implementing magnetostrictive sensor techniques for the nondestructive evaluation of plate type structures such as walls, vessels, enclosures, and the like. The system includes magnetostrictive sensors specifically designed for application in conjunction with plate type structures or pipes that generate guided waves in the plates or pipes which travel therethrough in a direction parallel to the surface of the plate or pipe. Similarly structured sensors are positioned to detect the guided waves (both incident and reflected) and generate signals representative of the characteristics of the guided waves detected that are reflected from anomalies in the structure such as corrosion pits and cracks. The sensor structure is longitudinal in nature and generates a guided wave having a wavefront parallel to the longitudinal axis of the sensor, and which propagates in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the sensor. The generated guided waves propagate in the plate within the path of the propagating wave. The reflected waves from these abnormalities are detected using a magnetostrictive sensor. Shear horizontal waves may also be created by rotating the magnetic bias 90° and used for similar inspection techniques. Pipes, which act as curved plates, may also be inspected as well as electric resistance welds therein. In addition, steel sheet butt welds may be inspected with this technique.

    摘要: A cleaner that can have the sufficient capability of collecting pollutant particles by a battery voltage as well as a AC voltage. The cleaner uses a switched reluctance motor to rotate a collecting fan. The switched reluctance motor is driven by a motor driver in one of a PWM mode or a pulse trigger mode. The motor driver drives the switched reluctance motor using one of the battery voltage and a DC voltage converted from the AC voltage, depending on whether the AC voltage is received. The PWM mode and the trigger mode are switched depending on whether the AC voltage is received. Accordingly, the cleaner makes it possible to reduce the time taken to clean up pollutant particles using the battery voltage to the time taken to clean up the pollutant particles using the AC voltage.

    摘要: A method and system for implementing magnetostrictive sensor techniques for the nondestructive evaluation of pipeline structures. The system consists of a magnetostrictive sensor instrument unit, a data storage unit, and a plurality of magnetostrictive sensor probes are positioned on an in-line inspection vehicle. The instrumentation unit includes electronics for transmitting excitation pulses to a transmitting magnetostrictive sensor probe as well as electronics for amplifying and conditioning the signals detected by a receiving magnetostrictive sensor probe. The magnetostrictive sensor probes include both plate magnetostrictive sensors and permanent magnets which provide a DC bias magnetic field necessary for magnetostrictive sensor operation. The transmitting and receiving probes are attached to the in-line inspection vehicle by way of mechanical arms on opposing sides of the vehicle. The mechanical arms are spring loaded and are equipped with rollers which maintain the probes at approximately constant distances from the inside diameter of the pipe wall. The method involves generating pulses of shear horizontal waves of frequencies less than 200 kHz. The transmitting magnetostrictive sensor probe generates a wave that propagates in both directions around the circumference of the pipe wall from a point adjacent to the transmitting probe. Both waves are thereafter received at the receiving probe spaced 180 degrees apart from the transmitting probe. Any defect present in the pipe wall within the circumference being investigated will show up in the received signal.

    摘要: The present invention provides a process for preparing vancomycin hydrochloride using a mutant strain of Amycolatopsis orientalis (accession No. KCCM-10836P) comprising the steps of i) mutating and isolating a strain of Amycolatopsis orientalis (accession No. KCCM-10836P) for producing vancomycin from mother strain of Amycolatopsis orientalis (accession No. ATCC-19795) using NTG(N-methyl-N′-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine) in the selection medium; ii) seed culturing the isolated mutant strain of Amycolatopsis orientalis (accession No. KCCM-10836P); iii) cultivating and fermenting said mutant strain of Amycolatopsis orientalis in the fermentation medium consisting of 12˜18 (w/v) % of dextrin, 2.2˜3.8 (w/v) % of bean powder, 1.9˜2.9 (w/v) % of potato protein, 0.10˜0.14 (w/v) % of sodium chloride and a small amount of minerals; iv) filtering vancomycin using microfilter in the cultivation broth by removing mycelia; v) purifying obtained vancomycin using column system compacted with cation exchange resin, anion exchange resin and absorbent resin; and vi) crystallizing the purified vancomycin with hydrochloric acid.
