The window may separate an exterior region from an interior region within the vehicle. A light guide illuminator in the window may provide illumination for the interior region. The light guide illuminator may have a light guide that receives light from a light source. The light guide may have a density of light scattering structures that increases as a function of increasing distance from the light source so that the interior illumination is uniform across the light guide illuminator. An adjustable optical component layer such as a light modulator and/or a haze compensation layer with a density of light scattering structures that decreases as a function of distance from the light source may be interposed between the light guide and the structural window layer.

摘要: A window assembly includes a first radio frequency device disposed between a first window substrate and a second window substrate. An embedded coplanar waveguide is disposed between the first window substrate and the second window substrate, and is attached to the first radio frequency device. An exterior coplanar waveguide is disposed adjacent an exterior side surface of the first window substrate, and is disposed opposite the embedded coplanar waveguide for communicating electromagnetic waves therebetween. A printed circuit board is attached to and interconnects the exterior coplanar waveguide and a radio frequency cable connector. The radio frequency cable connector is configured for connection to a second radio frequency device. An adhesive layer bonds the printed circuit board to the exterior side surface of the first window substrate.

The interlayer film for laminated glass according to the present invention has a three or more-layer structure and is provided with a first layer containing a thermoplastic resin, a second layer containing a thermoplastic resin, and a third layer containing a thermoplastic resin, the second layer is arranged on a first surface side of the first layer, the third layer is arranged on a second surface side opposite to the first surface of the first layer, the glass transition temperature of the first layer is lower than the glass transition temperature of the second layer, the glass transition temperature of the first layer is lower than the glass transition temperature of the third layer, the ratio of the thickness of the first layer to the total thickness of the second layer and the third layer is 0.25 or more, and the thickness of the interlayer film is more than 600 μm.

摘要: Embodiments include a vehicle comprising an end facing an external object, at least one vehicle light positioned adjacent to the end and projecting a light pattern onto the object, a window adjacent to the end, and at least one proximity indicator coupled to the window at a predetermined position corresponding to an expected location of the light pattern on the object when the end is located a predetermined distance from the object. The proximity indicator can be removably adhered to the window. The light pattern can be visible through the window from a vehicle interior. In some embodiments, the object is positioned adjacent to a rear end of the vehicle and the at least one vehicle light is a rear vehicle light. In other embodiments, the object is positioned adjacent to a front end of the vehicle and the at least one vehicle light is a front vehicle light.
