摘要: Provided is a head-mounted display element, including: a first casing (11) which incorporates therein at least a display element (21), and has a light projection window (11a) for projecting image light from the display element (21); a second casing (12) which incorporates therein an eyepiece optical system (31) with a refractive power, and has a light receiving window (12a) for receiving incident image light projected through the light projection window (11a) and an eyepiece window (12b) for emitting the image light that has passed through the eyepiece optical system (31); and a coupling portion (13) for coupling the second casing (12) to the first casing (11) so as to make adjustable a length of an optical path between the light projection window (11a) and the light receiving window (12a).

摘要: A head-mounted type display device includes: a spectacle frame for fixture to a user's head; a body unit 2 fixed to the spectacle frame and having an image output unit from which image output unit image light of an image to be displayed is output; an eyepiece optical unit 3 for allowing image light output from the image output unit to be incident on the eyepiece optical unit, for guiding the incident image light to the corresponding eyeball 11 of the user with the spectacle frame being mounted on the user's head, and for displaying, as a virtual image, a magnified version of the image from the image output unit within a user's visual field; and an attachment means 4 for attaching the eyepiece optical unit 3 to the body unit in a replaceable manner. The attachment means 4 may attach at least first and second eyepiece optical units to each other in a replaceable manner, the first and second eyepiece optical units having different optical axis paths L in optical systems for guiding the image light from the image output unit to the eyeball 11.

摘要: An eyeglass-type image display device mounted on an eyeglass frame and has a display element for displaying an image and a light guiding unit for guiding the image light of the image displayed on the display element 15 is provided, wherein at least the light guiding unit is disposed on a limb unit so as to be displaceable to a first position where the light guiding unit is evacuated from the front of one eyeball of the user and to the second position where the light guiding unit extends to the front of the eyeball and the image light exits therethrough toward the eyeball, thereby enabling compact and light-weight structure, reduction in cost, and further enabling the user to wear the eyeglass frame for a long time without feeling that the eyeglass frame is heavy.

摘要: A video display apparatus displays videos corresponding to a plurality of directions of observation respectively and includes a display device. A control unit controls a scan timing so that a sum of a video scanning period from an upper end to a lower end of the display device concerning one video input into the display device and a response period in the lower end of the display device is smaller than a field period of the video. The control unit allows an illumination system to emit light between the end of the response period of the lower end and the start of scanning of the next video in the upper end of the display device.
