Abstract:
A method for processing images comprises the steps of performing the reception of data through the net work, inputting image data obtainable in accordance with the designated input mode, managing the storage of the data received in the receiving step and the image data inputted in the input step to the memory, and intervening between the operations of the reception step and the input step in accordance with the storage management in the controlling step. With the method thus structured, the compression ratio of the input image is heightened by changing the current photographing mode if the added value of the estimated reception data through communicating means and the data side of photographed image predetermined by the current photographing mode should exceed the remainders of memory in the storage, hence making it possible to implement the compatibility of immediacy between the image input and the communication by dealing with any sudden reception during photographing.

An information processing apparatus is capable of connecting a plurality of types of printers including an ink-jet printer. The apparatus includes a detector, a connecting device, a counter, a discrimination section and an ejection recovery controller. The detector detects that a power supply of the apparatus is turned on. The connector electrically connects a printer. The counter measures an inactive period of the printer connected to the connector. The discrimination section discriminates a type of printer connected to the connector. The ejection recovery controller causes, when the discrimination section discriminates an ink-jet printer, the printer to execute ejection recovery processing when the detector detects that the power supply is turned on, and when the counter measures a predetermined inactive period.

In an image processing apparatus including a display device for displaying a binary image stored in a display binary memory and a printer for printing a binary image stored in a printing binary memory, a multi-value-binary conversion circuit for converting a multivalued image stored in a multivalued memory into a binary image is selectively connected to the display binary image memory or the printing binary image memory while arbitration between a display request and a printing request is performed. The multi-value-binary conversion circuit is commonly used for display and printing.
Abstract:
Information processing method and apparatus are provided. A drawing command is divided into a plurality of drawing commands. The divided drawing commands and the information to designate a printer are added, thereby producing a plurality of drawing packet groups. In order to convert the packet groups into the images suitable for a printing mechanism, the packet groups are transmitted so as to be allocated to a plurality of information processing sections. The drawing command is divided every page to be printed.

The optical input detection apparatus is adapted to integrate the value of the light received corresponding to the sum of the value of the light received by the light receiving device during driving of the light emitting device and the external flood light, deduct from the integration value the value of the light received equivalent to the external flood light received by the photodetector during the non-driving period following the driving of the light emitting device, compensate the integration value to the signal corresponding to the light emitting output and output the compensated signal to the comparator for comparison. Consequently, the presence or absence of an interruption in the light beam may be detected without being affected by the external flood light.

A transmission/reception apparatus 100 transmits training packets for checking the state of the power line at two distinct points in time. A transmission/reception apparatus analyzes SNR at each carrier frequency, and stores an SNR evaluation result. The transmission/reception apparatus compares two SNR evaluation results which are obtained through two instances of a channel estimation algorithm, selects an SNR evaluation result which dictates a faster PHY rate, and transmits it to the transmission/reception apparatus. The transmission/reception apparatus changes modulation/demodulation rules based on the received SNR analytical result.

The object of the invention is to construct a horizontal-axis wind turbine comprising a dual-system pitch drive unit for one blade that is independent up to the transmission mechanism or a dual-system yaw drive unit for one wind turbine nacelle that is independent up to the transmission mechanism, and to provide the dual system with new applicability. The horizontal-axis wind turbine of the present invention has a hub 1 and a blade 2 that are connected by way of an interposed section 5b, 6b, 7 which can freely rotate around the pitch axis of the blade with respect to both the hub and the blade; and further comprises: a hub-side interposed section drive unit 10 that relatively rotates the interposed section with respect to the hub, and a blade-side interposed section drive unit 11 that relatively rotates the blade with respect to the interposed section. The horizontal-axis wind turbine further comprises a hub-side interposed section angle sensor, a blade-side interposed section angle sensor and hub-side blade angle sensor, and is configured to control the pitch angle of the blade with respect to the hub whether controlling both drive units or controlling only one drive unit. Similar connection mechanism and drive and control mechanism is applied to between a tower and a nacelle.
