摘要： Reliable ink jet print head, ink jet head cartridge, ink container, and the manufacture method thereof are provided. Specifically, an ink supply opening of an ink container includes a beam member crossing the ink supply opening. The beam member is shaped so that filler material included therein is oriented in a direction along which the beam member extends. By providing the beam member in the ink supply opening of the ink container, the deformation of the ink container due to a temperature change is prevented by the beam member having a smaller linear expansion coefficient that extends in a direction orthogonal to the nozzle arrangement direction. Thus, a more reliable ink jet print head can be provided. In addition, higher strength can be achieved in a direction orthogonal to the nozzle arrangement direction of the ink container.

摘要： The present invention provides a storing structure for storing an ink jet head including a nozzle communicated with an opening for discharging liquid, a liquid storing portion for storing the liquid to be supplied to the nozzle and a liquid introduction portion for introducing the liquid into the liquid storing portion from exterior, wherein, in the ink jet head, air is housed in the liquid storing portion and the liquid is contained at least in the nozzle, and a cap unit including an elastic cap for covering an area of the opening and a liquid absorbing member disposed in the elastic cap is closely contacted with and attached, around the opening, to a face in which the opening is formed, and the liquid introduction portion is communicated with atmosphere at least when inner pressure of the liquid storing portion is increased, thereby maintaining a space within the cap unit to a wetting condition.

摘要： An ink cartridge is described which is connectable to an ink jet recording head of an ink jet recording apparatus. The cartridge is generally formed by a front wall, a back wall, a top wall, a bottom wall and two side walls providing major inner surfaces of the cartridge. The cartridge includes a first chamber and a second chamber. The first chamber contains negative pressure producing material and has an ink outlet connectable to the ink jet head to supply ink from the cartridge to the ink jet head and an air vent for allowing air into the cartridge. The second chamber has a communication port adjacent to the bottom wall, and communicates with the first chamber through the communication port. The second chamber provides an ink reservoir for the first chamber. Inner corner portions, formed by intersection of the inner side of the side walls adjacent to the communication port and the bottom wall, and which extend toward the communication port, are rounded.
