    摘要: A color image forming apparatus for forming a color image by transferring images of different colors on a recording medium in a multi-transfer mode. The color image forming apparatus includes a plurality of image forming units for successively forming color images of different colors according to image information, a transfer/transport unit for transporting different color images formed by the image forming units in a state that the color images are successively transferred thereon, a detecting unit for detecting patterns used for detecting an out-of-registration of the color images formed on the transfer/transport unit by the image forming units, and a correcting unit for correcting positions of the color images to be transferred on the transfer/transport unit according to data signal output from the detecting unit. In the apparatus, the transfer/transport unit includes a belt having a light transmission characteristic, the detecting unit includes a light source and a photosensing element which are opposed with respect to the belt. The light source includes a light emitting diode, and the photosensing element includes a photosensing element for detecting the patterns used for detecting the out-of-registration of the color images that are formed on the transfer/transport unit, through a lens-array imaging element.

    摘要: A differential amplifier circuit is obtained in which an operating power source voltage is suppressed to a minimum necessary level. The differential amplifier circuit includes a bias circuit having a differential amplifier with NMOS transistors (11A, 11B, 12A and 12B) and PMOS transistors (13A and 13B). Sources of NMOS transistors (11A)and (11B) are commonly grounded. A bias voltage (VB1) is supplied to gates of the NMOS transistors (11A) and (11B). Drains of the NMOS transistors (11A) and (11B) are connected to sources of NMOS transistors (12A) and (12B), respectively. A gate and a drain of the NMOS transistor (12A) are short-circuited to each other with the drain connected to a drain of a PMOS transistor (13A). A bias voltage (VB4) is applied to a gate of the NMOS transistor (12B). A drain of the NMOS transistor (12B) is connected to a drain of the PMOS transistor (13B) whose gate and drain are shared by each other. Gates of the PMOS transistors (13A) and (13B) are connected to a bias terminal (72) while sources of the PMOS transistors (13A) and (13B) are commonly connected to a power source. The bias terminal (72) is connected to an input bias terminal of a differential amplifier.

    摘要: A color registration error detecting method for repeatedly forming a plurality of registration error detection patterns of different colors on an image carrier, detecting the registration error detection patterns, and detecting a color registration error from detection signals of the patterns. In this method, a sampling length and a sampling frequency for detection of the registration error detection patterns are set so as to satisfy the conditions of (1) the sampling length is to be approximated to a wavelength of a vibrational component be read with a registration error component by registration error detecting means or to an integer multiple of the wavelength; (2) the sampling length is to be set as large as possible; and (3) the sampling frequency and an integer multiple thereof are to be separated as far as possible from a frequency of the vibrational component. Accordingly, the detection accuracy of the color registration error can be improved by sampling the original color registration error only from the color image registration error and the various vibrational components to be read by the pattern detecting means, thereby realizing both a high quality and a high speed in a color image forming device.

    摘要: An apparatus for measuring the instantaneous power generated by a leg extension, which includes a seat provided above a drive system unit on which a subject is seated. A slide rail extends forwardly from the drive system unit, and a foot plate slides along the slide rail in forward and backward directions. A rope connected to the foot plate is provided in the drive system unit in order to be paid out in response to the forward sliding movement of the foot plate. This apparatus also includes a transmission device, which rotates in response to the rope paying-out and a powder brake, which is rotated by the transmission device. A foot load sensor is also mounted on the foot plate in order to detect the foot load developed when the subject extends his/her legs, and a rotation frequency sensor is provided at a predetermined position within the drive system unit in order to detect the rotation frequency of the powder brake. In addition, a processing unit is used to calculate the average speed, the average muscle power, the average power and the peak power generated by the subject's legs, according to the detection signals from the foot load sensor and the rotation frequency sensor. These calculations are visually and auditorially displayed to the subject by an indicator device.

    摘要: An A/D converter includes a resistor network generating a reference voltage, a level detector for detecting the level of an input analogue signal with a reference voltage from the resistor network as a reference, and an encoder for providing a digital signal by encoding the output of the level detector. The level detector includes a plurality of comparators for bilevel-processing the input analogue signal with a preselected voltage from the resistor connection nodes of the resistor network as a reference voltage. The resistor network comprises a plurality of resistor elements between a first node receiving a first reference voltage and a second node receiving a second reference voltage, which are interconnected to provide a voltage from an associated connection node that is 1/2.sup.j times the difference between said first reference voltage and said second reference voltage. The comparator includes capacitors for providing the difference between the input analogue signal and the reference voltage by a capacitor coupling, and an inverter amplifier for determining the positive or negative of the voltage change generated by the capacitors. This structure implements an A/D converter of high precision with less elements.

    摘要: A control system with an abnormality detecting device for use in a motor vehicle. The control system comprises a microcomputer coupled through a switching circuit and an analog-to-digital converter to a sensor for sensing an operating state of the motor vehicle and also to a reference voltage generating circuit. The switching circuit performs a switching operation between an analog signal from the sensor and a predetermined reference voltage signal from the reference voltage generating circuit to supply the analog-to-digital converter with one of the analog signals which is analog-to-digital-converted in the analog-to-digital converter. The microcomputer has a first decision function which decides that the output signal of the analog-to-digital converter to be coupled to the sensor is out of a predetermined range, and further has a second decision function which decides that the output signal of the analog-to-digital converter to be coupled to the reference voltage generating circuit is different from a predetermined value. In accordance with the decision result, the second decision function decides that the sensor or analog-to-digital converter circuit is in an abnormal state. This arrangement can selectively and adequately detect the malfunction of the sensor or analog-to-digital converter.
