摘要： Methods for notifying a user via a wireless communications device regarding the occurrence of an event are provided in which a request is received from a user for notification upon the occurrence of the event. At least one information source is monitored for the occurrence of the event. Once this monitoring indicates that the event has occurred, a notification message that the event has occurred is sent to the wireless communications device. Thereafter, a response is received from the wireless communications device. Related systems, devices and computer program products are also described.

Using almost any type of communications device, a user may gain access to, view, and make changes or modifications to profile information related to the services. The changes may be made quickly and efficiently, but accuracy and thoroughness in the implementation of the changes are not sacrificed. Further, the changes to the communications services are implemented almost immediately and without involvement by the service provider.Particularly, profile information about the telecommunications service is stored on a server in a data network. A change action relating to the profile information may be received at the server from a data device (such as a wireless unit) operating on the network. The change action is implemented on the profile information to result in changed profile information, which may be provided from the server via the data network to the telecommunications system.

An intended recipient of the call is also retrieved from the database. A notification message is sent to the network address, and the notification message includes the calling number and the intended recipient of the call. Processing of the call is resumed.

摘要： A system and methods for remotely accessing, retrieving, and transmitting data offering remote data management control and verification of data delivery is provided. In an illustrative implementation, the present invention comprises a computing application operating on at least one computer server that cooperates with at least one communications network to which participating users have access. The exemplary computing application coordinates the delivery of desired data its corresponding data directory structure information to participating users over the communications network. The present invention further provides notification of delivery of data to intended targets using the communications network.
