    摘要: A driver's action at a target intersection in a guided route is predicted based on driving data. When the driver is attempting to go straight ahead at a target intersection where the driver should make a turn, or when the driver is attempting to make a turn at a target intersection where the driver should go straight ahead, the predicted driver's action is determined to disagree with the guided route. In this case, an execution of an audio guidance is performed but re-execution is awaited for a predetermined period. Further, when the driver is attempting to go straight ahead at a target intersection where the driver should make a turn, an audio guidance is executed after a distance to the target intersection is determined to be smaller than a required distance computed from a vehicle speed.

    摘要: A dynamic contour extracting means detects, using a dynamic contour extraction method generally known as SNAKE, a contour of a recognition object included on an image by the following steps: a curve with control points is disposed in an image; an internal energy Eint indicating smoothness of the curve, an image energy Eimage, and an external energy Eext are summed up; and the curve is modified so that the summed total energy becomes the minimum. Here, a template is stored for including disposition information of primary control points that are bound to be moved only in a vertical or horizontal direction based on a road shape. The dynamic contour extracting means moves the primary control points based on the template. The primary control points can be rapidly moved owing to their limited movement direction.

    摘要: The color sorting apparatus includes a grain guide device, a grain feeder, an illumination device for illuminating the grain, an optical detector consisting of an optical detection section for receiving the light from the illuminated grain and a background, and ejector for rejecting the grain. The illumination device employs at least one light source having spectral energy distribution in both the visible light region and the near infrared region. At least one set of the optical detection device for monitoring a predetermined detection field is provided. The optical detection section of the optical detection device includes a first light receiving sensor having high sensitivity to the visible light region and a second light receiving sensor having high sensitivity to the near infrared region. The single color sorting apparatus is capable of sorting and rejecting not only foreign materials with color different from that of the acceptable products in the visible light region but also foreign materials with the same color as the acceptable product or transparency in the near infrared region.
