摘要: Sorting of produce, such as date palm fruit is achieve by receiving the unsorted fruit, using a plurality of sensors capable of sensing data for determining characteristics of the produce according to criteria comprising size, moisture or moisture content, and color. A control and evaluation unit, responsive to the sensed data, determines the characteristics of the produce and identifies each item of produce according to the characteristics as one of the predetermined categories. An air jet sorter is used to selectively divert the produce to the different ones of the output bins or ports according to the identified category for that produce.

摘要: Particles are sorted into paths based on a measurable parameter by forming them into a stream in at least one duct carried on a body rotating around an axis where the duct is shaped so that the particles are accelerated to cause the particles separated into the duct to be aligned one after another in a row in the duct. The parameter of the particles are measured in the aligned stream one after the other and the particles are directed into one of a plurality of paths as determined by the measurement. In one arrangement the body comprises a disk member having a front face facing a supply conduit and the duct lies in a radial plane of the disk member. In one arrangement the measurement of the parameter is carried out by one or more measurement devices either carried on the disk or outside the edge of the disk.

摘要: Methods and systems for detecting foreign material within a product stream in real-time, involve illuminating a portion of the agricultural product stream with light spanning a wavelength range including or within near-infrared and/or shortwave infrared wavelengths; scanning a line of the illuminated agricultural product stream to acquire a hyperspectral image of the line, the hyperspectral image of the line having a width of a single pixel; processing the hyperspectral image of the scanned line to obtain spectrum data for one or more pixels of the hyperspectral image of the scanned line; comparing the obtained spectrum data of the one or more pixels to predetermined spectrum data to determine whether the obtained spectrum data is indicative of foreign material within the scanned line of the agricultural product stream.

摘要: The present invention disc loses a novel intelligent and multi-channeled grading machine with trajectory tracking sensor network for grading objects into multiple grades in a single pass based on external characteristics viz. size, shape, color, texture, surface, properties or any other possible external characteristics by continuously tracking the trajectory of objects. The novel grading machine comprises of hopper: at least one feeding unit; multiple optics units multiple conduits; multiple sensor networks in multiple conduits; at least one master controller; at least one ejector unit comprising of arrays of single-angled or multiple angle ejectors in each conduit; multiple vacuum creators placed respectively opposite to each ejector; multiple collecting chutes; and multiple collecting locations. The novel grading machine is extremely simple, accurate, and automated, power-efficient and cost-effective. The present invention also discloses a novel process for grading objects into multiple grades in a single pass by continuously tracking the trajectory of objects based on external characteristics.
