摘要： According to the present invention, there is provided an apparatus for lifting and tilting slats in a venetian blind, comprising: a head box; a rotating shaft; ladder drums rotating together with the shaft; drum holders for supporting the ladder drums; ladder rings of an open ring shape and fitted around each of the ladder drums; ladder cords being put on, and secured to, each of the ladder rings; lifting drums; lift cords, wound around each of the lifting drums; slats; and elements for stopping the rotation of the shaft. The apparatus is characterized in that the elements for stopping the rotation of the shaft comprises: a stopper holder on a head box; a drum stopper of a ring shape, axially not slidably, but rotatably, attached to the stopper holder; a stop ring of a ring shape, axially slidably, but not rotatably, attached to the stopper holder; and a spring for axially pressing the stop ring against the drum stopper, the drum stopper and the stop ring having teeth formed on the mutually opposite ends of the drum stopper and the stop ring so that the teeth are engageable with each other. The lifting drum and the drum stopper are engaged so that the drum stopper rotates together with the lifting drum. The lift cord is put on the stop ring, and is hung downward.

摘要： A NOx sensing cell includes a solid electrolyte having oxide ion conductivity and a pair of electrodes electrically connected to the solid electrolyte. The measuring electrode includes an oxide portion and a noble metallic portion. The oxide portion includes the solid solution of zirconia containing at least ceria. The noble metallic portion contains at least two kinds of metallic elements selected from platinum group elements. In addition to the NOx sensing cell, a NOx sensing device includes a measuring chamber into which a sensing objective gas is introduced, and an oxygen pump cell which is capable of electrochemically removing the oxygen from the measuring chamber. The measuring electrode of the NOx sensing cell is positioned in the measuring chamber.

摘要： A light-sensitive silver halide grain containing at least one metal complex, wherein when an a-axis, a b-axis and a c-axis of a silver halide crystal lattice are each established taking as an origin a central metal of the metal complex incorporated into the silver halide grain, the metal complex has in a ligand thereof a site which can form any bond of a covalent bond, a dative bond and an ionic bond, or a bond in a mixed form of these bonds with a silver ion on a lattice point which does not exist on any of the a-axis, the b-axis and the c-axis. The silver halide photographic material has no reciprocity failure over a wide range of exposure illuminations without desensitization and decrease of contrast on the low intensity side.
