    摘要: An automatic hot water supply apparatus produces and supplies hot water by mixing, with a hot water/cold water mixing valve, hot water supplied from an instantaneous water heater unit through a hot water supply pipe and cold water supplied through a cold water supply pipe. The automatic hot water supply apparatus includes a flow rate control valve actuatable by an electric actuator, and a flow rate limiting unit responsive to a hot water temperature setting, or a season setting, or a detected hot water temperature, for varying the flow rate of mixed hot water. The electric actuator is controlled by a signal from the flow rate limiting unit to operate the flow rate control valve in order to solve the problems of a low water temperature during the winter, an excessive hot water flow rate, and a low instantaneous water heater unit capability, so that the automatic hot water supply apparatus can supply hot water at a desired temperature.

    摘要: To provide a manufacturing method of a field emission cathode, which method exerts no adverse effect on element characteristics at the time when etching is performed with an ion beam. A sacrificial layer 4 made of a thermosetting resin is formed on a gate electrode layer 3. An opening section 5 is formed in the sacrificial layer 4 and the gate electrode layer 3 by irradiating a focused ion beam, and a hole section 6 is formed by etching the insulating layer 2 by using the sacrificial layer 4 and the gate electrode layer 3 as a mask. An emitter electrode 8 is formed in the hole section 6, and the emitter material 7 on the sacrificial layer 4 is removed together with the sacrificial layer 4 on the gate electrode layer 3.

    摘要: A powder material for use in resistance welding articles of aluminum comprises a mixture of 10-50% by weight of a liquid resin and the remaining proportion of a magnesium powder or a blend of magnesium and aluminum powders. Also a method of resistance welding articles of aluminum comprises the steps of preparing a pasty mixture by mixing in a predetermined amount of a liquid resin having a predetermined initial viscosity, a predetermined amount of a metal powder or a blend of metal and metal oxide powders, and inserting the pasty mixture between the mating weld surfaces of the aluminum articles. Only a small welding force and a low current will be required in producing a resistance weld connection between the aluminum articles with desired strength.
