摘要： A hydraulic elevator pressure relief valve is activated if a pilot valve disposed therein senses an excessive pressure build up within a hydraulic elevator system. The pilot valve opens once excess fluid pressure force is detected. A main piston then facilitates communication between a solenoid valve disposed within the valving system and the drain pressure thereby closing a check valve and thus stopping an elevator car from further movement. The main piston further ports the excess fluid pressure force from the system to drain pressure, thus stabilizing the fluid pressure force therein.

摘要： A two-stage solenoid valve uses a pair of stacked coaxial armatures in a cylindrical sleeve housing. A first armature is provided with a fluid sealing ring and is urged by a first spring to peripherally seal an adjacent internal fluid port in a valve base supporting a first end of the sleeve housing. The first armature is provided with a coaxial bore extending through the armature and coaxial with the fluid sealing ring to form a fluid channel. The second armature also has a coaxial bore extending therethrough with a resilient sealing member slideably retained within the bore. A second spring is arranged to urge the resilient sealing member against a first end of the bore in the second armature and to extend therefrom to a fixed plug in a second end of the cylindrical housing. The resilient sealing member cooperates with a fluid port defining an end of the coaxial bore in the first armature opposite the end of the first armature having the fluid sealing surface. A first and a second solenoid coil are coaxially stacked to surround the cylindrical sleeve housing adjacent to respective ones of the first and second armatures. An energization of the second coil provides a first fluid path through the bore in the first armature while an energization of both coils provides a second fluid path directly through the fluid port in the valve base to provide a first and a second flow rate, respectively, through the valve.

At least one of the side portions includes a roller guide support sheet. A first roller guide roller is supported by the sheet such that the first roller is at least partially disposed on a first side of the sheet and an axis of the first roller is generally parallel with the sheet. Second and third rollers are supported by the sheet such that the second and third rollers are on a second, oppositely facing side of the sheet. An axis of each of the second and third rollers is generally perpendicular to the axis of the first roller. The axis of each of the second and third roller remains in a fixed position relative to the sheet.

The guiderail has a length in a direction of movement of the elevator car and a depth generally perpendicular to the length. A plurality of flat belts are situated relative to the elevator car such that movement of the flat belts for causing movement of the elevator car is approximately four times a corresponding movement of the elevator car. A plurality of sheaves is situated for directing the flat belts as the belts at least partially wrap around the sheaves. The plurality of sheaves remains fixed near one end of the guide rail. The plurality of sheaves rotate about coaxially aligned axes and have a collective width along the axes that is no greater than the depth of the guiderail.

A solenoid actuator has an armature that is situated for vertical movement. The armature moves upward when the solenoid is energized to move the friction member into the damping position. The armature mass urges the armature in a downward vertical direction causing the friction member to move out of the damping position when the solenoid is not energized.
