    摘要: A pump apparatus has a regenerative pump and a motor for driving the regenerative pump. A substantially annular flow passage is formed in the pump housing of the regenerative pump and communicated with a discharge port and a suction port. An impeller is rotatably housed in the pump housing. A plurality of radial vane grooves are formed circumferentially spaced in the outer peripheral portion of each surface of the impeller. A recess is formed in the portion of one of side surfaces of the flow passage aligned axially with the discharge port formed in the other side face of the flow passage.

    摘要: A regenerative pump apparatus has a housing and a substantially disc-shaped impeller rotatably housed by the housing. Circumferential rows of radial vane grooves are formed in the outer peripheral portions of both side surfaces of the impeller. Each circumferential row includes first vane grooves of an axial depth equal to or greater than a half of the impeller thickness and second vane grooves of an axial depth smaller than a half of the impeller thickness. The first and second vane grooves are arranged alternatingly in the circumferential direction in each row, such that the first vane grooves and the second vane grooves in one row are axially aligned with the second vane grooves and the first vane grooves in the other row.

    摘要: In a safety inflatable bag apparatus for protecting occupants of a vehicle, when collision of a vehicle occurs, a blocking cock of a high pressure gas container is destroyed by explosion of ignitors, as a result of which high pressure gas is released from the container into the inflatable bag to inflate it for restraining the occupant. By-product fragments or pieces produced upon the explosion of the ignitors are collected in a collecting chamber disposed at a bent portion of a duct connecting the high pressure gas container and the inflatable bag, thereby to eliminate the need for a conventional filter or prevent the filter, if used, from being clogged.

The controller controls, upon a changeover command to a heating mode during a cooling mode, the changeover valve to change the refrigerant circulation path from the cooling path to the heating path after the high-pressure-side pressure detected by the high-pressure detector becomes equal-to/lower-than a target pressure. According to the air-conditioner, the refrigerant amount in the heating path can be optimized without making the refrigeration cycle complicated and increasing its cost.

In the engine start period in a low ambient temperature, the engine cooling water flowing from the water jacket to the heater core (8a) is heated by heat released from the first external heat exchanger (18) to rise in temperature.

The vane has an inner end in sliding contact with the outer peripheral surface of the rotor to divide the crescent-shaped space into a suction chamber in communication with a suction port and a discharge port to be communicated with a discharge port having an inner end open in a wall of an outer part of the vane chamber. The rate of communication between the discharge port and the discharge chamber through the outer vane chamber part is varied by the reciprocal movement of the vane so that the communication is interrupted at least when the point of contact between the rotor and the cylinder inner peripheral surface reaches the vane.
