摘要: This invention relates to a printing apparatus and a conveyance control method capable of allowing even an arrangement having a plurality of conveyance rollers in a printing medium conveyance path to accurately control conveyance of a printing medium. A pattern having a predetermined uniform density is printed on a printing medium a plurality of number of times by using a printhead while conveying the printing medium and changing the conveyance amount by a small amount. A conveyance correction amount obtained on the basis of the conveyance amount upon printing a pattern selected from a plurality of printed pattern is stored in a storage medium. Conveyance of the printing medium is controlled while correcting the conveyance amount of the printing medium by the conveyance means on the basis of the conveyance correction amount stored in the storage means.

摘要: The present invention provides an active targeting polymer micelle encapsulating a drug, preventing an inappropriate release of a drug which may damage a normal cell. A polymer micelle 100 includes a backbone polymer unit 10 that has a target binding site 11 and a backbone polymer unit 20 that has a drug 14 and is free from the target binding site 11, such polymer units 10 and 20 being disposed in a radial arrangement in a state where the target binding site 11 is directed outward and the drug 14 is directed inward, in which: i) when the micelle is bound to a target 40 while maintaining the radial arrangement, the micelle is taken up into a cell 50 supplying the target 40 through endocytosis, and the drug 14 is released into the cell 50 by collapse of the radial arrangement in the cell 50; and ii) when the radial arrangement collapses in blood 60 before the micelle is bound to a target 40, the unit 20 is excreted through metabolism, to thereby prevent a normal cell from being damaged by the drug 14.

摘要: The present invention is to provide a printing apparatus capable of correctly detecting an origin of a conveying roller for conveying a print medium at the time of its rotation with a simple configuration that does not accompany an increase of cost. For this purpose, the printing apparatus is equipped with a lock mechanism (a lock link lever) for stopping rotation of the conveying roller at a predetermined rotational position and saves a count value of a rotation amount of the conveying roller when the conveying roller is locked by the lock mechanism concerned as origin information. After this, driving of the conveying roller is controlled based on the saved origin information and a phase of rotation of the conveying roller obtained from the count value of the conveying roller.

摘要: An ink jet printing apparatus that can print high quality images under simple control includes a conveying roller disposed upstream of a printing section to convey a print medium, a pinch roller that rotates in cooperation with the conveying roller and discharging rollers that convey the print medium downstream of the printing section. The pinch roller, before a trailing end of the print medium reaches a nip portion between the conveying roller and the pinch roller, moves from a pressure contact position with respect to the conveying roller. A conveyance amount of the print medium varies between before and after separation of the pinch roller from the conveying roller.

摘要: The present invention provides anti-aPC antibodies that suppress the inactivation of activated protein C (aPC), and uses thereof. The present inventors screened anti-aPC antibodies, and succeeded in isolating anti-aPC antibodies comprising the activity of suppressing aPC inactivation in blood. The antibodies of the present invention can be used to maintain aPC activity by suppressing aPC inactivation, and can thus be used to sustain aPC bioactivities, such as the activity of suppressing activation of the blood coagulation system, and anti-inflammatory activity. In addition, the present invention provides uses of the antibodies of the present invention in aPC therapy for diseases such as thrombosis and sepsis. The therapeutic effect of aPC can be prolonged in treatment that uses aPC administration by allowing an antibody of the present invention to bind with aPC. The antibodies of the present invention can be used in the treatment and prevention of diseases such as thrombosis and sepsis.
