    Abstract: A head-up display includes an image-generating system, and a projecting optical system that includes a common mirror and a folding mirror. The image-generating system is configured to emit a first source light beam and a second source light beam that pass through an image plane. The projecting system also includes an element for redirecting beams by diffraction that deflects the first source light beam downstream of the image plane into a first intermediate beam directed toward the common mirror. The folding mirror is configured to reflect the second source light beam downstream of the image plane into a second intermediate beam directed toward the common mirror. The common mirror is configured to intercept and project the first intermediate beam and the second intermediate beam to form a first virtual image at a first projection distance and a second virtual image at a second projection distance.

    Abstract: A head-up display includes, inside a housing, an image-generating device configured to generate a light beam which passes through an optical output element, a first reflector configured to reflect the light beam as an intermediate beam, and a second reflector configured to reflect the intermediate beam as an output beam. The housing includes an opening closed by a window through which the output beam passes. The propagation of light through the optical output element, in reflection on the first reflector, in reflection on the second reflector, and through the window, defines an optical path with two ends. Two elements from the optical output element, the first and second reflectors, and the window are provided, respectively, with a first and second spectral filter. The first and second spectral filter are configured to prevent the propagation of a spectral component of the light beam.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a display (1) comprising—a casing (10), —an image generation unit (20), and—a light sensor (30), disposed in the interior (INT) of said casing (10), suitable for delivering a signal representative of a light intensity received by same, the display (1) being adapted such that the luminosity of an image generated by the image generation unit (20) is controlled as a function of said signal. According to the invention, the display (1) further comprises a light guide (50) situated in the interior (INT) of the casing (10) of the display (1), having an inlet face (51) and being shaped to collect at the input face (51) of same a light ray coming from outside the casing (10) of the display, and for guiding said light ray to said sensor (30).

    Abstract: The invention relates to an active screen (220), i.e. to a light-emitting screen, comprising a matrix array of modules (222) that each form one pixel, and a matrix array (260) of control elements that are intended to address each of these modules, respectively. According to the invention, each module comprises at least three light-emitting submodules (224) that each include a three-dimensional light-emitting structure (250), and each control element is intended to individually address each submodule. A head-up display (1) comprising such a screen (220), and a device (24) for projecting images, said device being suitable for transmitting, in the direction of a semitransparent mirror (10) the images generated by said screen, is also described.
