    摘要: The present invention relates to a hydrodynamic machine, especially a hydrodynamic retarder, including a bladed primary wheel and a bladed secondary wheel which are arranged opposite of each other axially with respect to their blade configurations such that they jointly form a working chamber. The working chamber can be filled with a working medium for one operating state in order to transmit torque from the primary wheel to the secondary wheel by means of a circulatory flow of the working medium. The working chamber can be emptied of the working medium for a non-operating state in order to prevent a transmission of torque from the primary wheel to the secondary wheel. A suction apparatus is connected with a fluidic connection to the working chamber in order to suck off working medium and/or air from the working chamber for forming a negative pressure in the working chamber in the non-operating state.

    摘要: A drive unit for a motor vehicle having an engine; a transmission featuring a transmission housing; and a retarder featuring a rotor and a stator. A retarder shaft is provided that is supported by two bearings which are offset along the axial length of the retarder shaft. At least one of the bearings ("outside bearing") is supported by a wall ("outside wall") of the transmission housing. The retarder shaft protrudes freely beyond the outside wall of the transmission housing. Disposed on the retarder shaft, outside the outer bearing, on the outside wall, is a sealing component. The sealing component seals the clearance between the retarder (or pinion) shaft and the outside wall, preventing passage therethrough of the transmission oil and the operating medium of the retarder.

    摘要: The present invention is a drive system for a boat propeller, with a motor and a reverse gearbox. For forward travel a hydrodynamic coupling is provided and for reverse travel a hydrodynamic reverse converter is provided. The coupling is operated with its maximum filling degree in the upper range of the propeller speed, but in the lower range of propeller speed with a partial filling. Thus, the hydrodynamic coupling is the single hydrodynamic power transfer unit for the entire forward speed range. In order for the boat to be able to be quickly braked down from full speed, the reverse converter is arranged to provide a high torque conversion in the reactive braking range.
