    摘要: A propulsion device for a ship capable of preventing idling of a propeller without any limitation on the type of clutch. The propulsion device includes: a forward and reverse switching clutch for transmitting the driving power from an input shaft to a forward gear or a reverse gear; a forward one-way clutch, disposed between the input shaft and the forward gear, for connecting the forward gear and the input shaft when the forward gear is rotated at a higher speed than that of the input shaft; and a reverse one-way clutch, disposed between the input shaft and the reverse gear, for connecting the reverse gear and the input shaft when the reverse gear is rotated at a higher speed than that of the input shaft.

    摘要: Disclosed is an control device of an outboard motor, including: a computation unit configured to set, as a starting point, a timing before a gearshift mechanism is shifted from forward to neutral after an accelerator opening level is fully closed in a case where an operator's manipulation is performed from forward to neutral, and compute a time-series change of an engine rotation speed as a simulated ship speed on the basis of the engine rotation speed detected by an engine rotation speed detector at the starting point; and a control unit configured to control an actuator such that, in a case where the operator's manipulation is performed from forward to reverse through neutral, the gearshift mechanism is maintained in the neutral position until the simulated ship speed estimated by the computation unit becomes a predetermined threshold value or lower, and is then shifted to reverse.

    摘要: A transmission is for a marine drive. The transmission comprises an input shaft that is caused to rotate by the marine drive and an output shaft that is caused to rotate by the input shaft. The input shaft and output shaft are operatively connected to each other such that forward rotation of the input shaft causes forward rotation of the output shaft when the transmission is shifted into a forward gear, and such that forward rotation of the input shaft causes reverse rotation of the output shaft when the transmission is shifted into a reverse gear. A planetary gearset operatively couples the input shaft to the output shaft only when the transmission is shifted into the reverse gear.

    摘要: A remote control device for a vessel is installed in a vessel and remotely controls a vessel propulsion device of the vessel. The remote control device includes an operation member, an operation load applying mechanism, a control section, and an actuator. The operation member is supported rotatably around a rotation axis, and is operated by an operator to switch the shift position of a forward-reverse switching mechanism in the vessel propulsion device according to the operation angle of the operation member. The operation load applying mechanism applies an operation load to the operation member. The control section controls the operation load. The operation load applying mechanism includes an actuator that adjusts the operation load. The control section is arranged to control the actuator based on a vessel speed of the vessel.

    摘要: A clutch mechanism of an outboard motor includes a forward gear and a reverse gear that are always driven in opposite directions by a drive shaft driven by a drive system, and a dog gear disposed around the output shaft. The forward gear, the reverse gear, and the dog gear are provided with a plurality of engaging projections and engaging recesses that can be engaged with each other, with the dog gear being engaged with either the forward gear or with the reverse gear by forceably moving the dog gear toward one side in the axial direction. A drive shaft has a drive gear and is driven by the drive system generating a maximum output power of about 300 ps or more, the forward gear and the reverse gear have input gears respectively which are always engaged with the drive gear, and the engaging projections and the engaging recesses are located radially inside of the input gears and disposed at least seven in a row along a circumference thereof.

    摘要: A transmission for a marine propulsion system uses a cone clutch in such a way that, when in a forward gear position, torque is transmitted from an input shaft, or driving shaft, to an output shaft, or driven shaft, solely through the cone clutch. When in forward gear position, driving torque between the driving and driven shafts is not transmitted through any gear teeth. When in reverse gear position, torque is transmitted through an assembly of the bevel gears.

    摘要: A propeller is driven by an electric motor through a mechanical drive train. The output torque of the motor to the drive train is controlled by a controller with respect to a normal torque reference signal and an emergency torque reference signal. When a measured deceleration of the motor exceeds a threshold deceleration value, the normal torque reference signal is modified or replaced by the emergency torque reference signal and the controller signals the motor to reduce or reverse the torque applied to the mechanical drive train by the motor. In this way, the integrity of the propeller and drive train can be protected if the propeller strikes an underwater obstruction.

    摘要: A boat propulsion system interposed between a prime mover and a propeller shaft comprises a hydro-mechanical transmission including a hydrostatic transmission part and a gear transmission part. The hydrostatic transmission part includes a variable displacement hydraulic pump having a movable swash plate and a hydraulic motor fluidly connected to the hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump is driven by the output rotary force of the prime mover. The gear transmission part is drivingly interposed between the hydrostatic transmission part and the propeller shaft so that the gear transmission part is driven by the input rotary force of the hydraulic pump with the assistance of the output rotary force of the hydraulic motor. A hydraulic clutch system may be interposed between the gear transmission part of the hydro-mechanical transmission and the propeller shaft so as to select one of opposite output rotary directions of the propeller shaft.
