    摘要: There are provided tapered roller bearings which support a pinion shaft. Inner races have large rib faces each having a recessed surface shape on which large-diameter end faces of tapered rollers slide. The surface roughness of the large-diameter end face is σ1 [μmRa] is 0.025 or more. In addition, assuming the surface roughness of the large rib face is σ2 [μmRa], (σ12+σ22)1/2 is 0.17 [μmRa] or less.     摘要: In a bearing device, a double row rolling bearing for supporting a pinion gear-side portion of a pinion shaft on a case (annular wall) is formed by a tandem-type double row angular contact ball bearing. A first row of balls having a larger pitch circle diameter are disposed between inner and outer rings of the double row angular contact ball bearing at a region near to the pinion gear, and a second row of balls having a smaller pitch circle diameter are disposed between the inner and outer rings at a region remote from the pinion gear. A bearing internal space is divided into a first bearing internal space containing the first ball row and open toward the pinion gear and a second bearing internal space containing the second ball row and sealed by partition walls formed respectively by bearing seals, lubricating grease being sealed in the second bearing internal space.

    摘要: An oblique contact ball bearing adopted to support a pinion shaft, where a sufficient range of rotation torque is provided for the oblique contact ball bearing to facilitate highly accurate setting, adjustment, and management of preload. To achieve the above, in the oblique contact ball bearing, a rust preventive oil having kinematic viscosity at 20° C. of 1-30 mm2/s is provided at the portions where raceways of inner and outer rings and balls are in contact with each other. This increases rotation torque of the bearing and preload setting is made in this state. As a result, when a predetermined pressure-contact force (thrust load) is applied to the balls and to the raceways, an oil-less state is relatively easily obtained and only an oil amount necessary for rust prevention stays on the raceways etc.
