摘要： An apparatus for removing a casting fin created on the tire-mounting surface of an aluminum wheel comprises: a chuck for positioning the center of the aluminum wheel at a predetermined position in the apparatus and positioning the casting fin on a predetermined line passing through the predetermined position; a stylus for movement following the profile of the tire-mounting surface of the aluminum wheel; and a cutter having a rotary shaft parallel to the center axis of the aluminum wheel and moved to a casting fin removing position along a line passing through the predetermined position at an angle with respect to the predetermined line for removing the casting fin of the aluminum wheel in accordance with the profile movement of the stylus.

摘要： In a card reader for reading information from a card which may contain the information as optical, magnetic, electronic or physical data, inside a casing is provided a carriage which carries the card and is adapted to be conveyed from an outer position to an inner position by a linear drive mechanism. By not using a pair of drive and pinch rollers as opposed to conventional card readers, the card is free from contaimination by the rollers, and the operation reliability of the card reader is improved. Further, the elimination of rollers also contributes to the reduction in the overall height of the card reader. The clamp mechanism for securing a card to the carriage may be provided with interlocking means which prevents the movement of the carriage until a card is securely gripped by the clamp mechanism.

摘要： An image formation apparatus includes a conveying unit that conveys a recording medium; a recording head that reciprocates in a direction orthogonal to a conveying direction of the recording medium while the recording medium is being conveyed by the conveying unit, the recording head forming an image on the recording medium; a reception unit that receives scan image data, the scan image data being used to form the image, while the recording head waits in a non-printing region of the recording medium; and a control unit that controls a conveyance distance of the recording medium conveyed by the conveying unit while the recording head waits in the non-printing region. The control of the conveyance distance of the recording medium is determined based on a scan image data reception period of the scan image data, the scan image data reception period being obtained from a communication speed of the reception unit.

摘要： A heat shielding member 20 that thermally shields the periphery of a single crystal 16 used in a Czochralski single crystal pulling device that pulls the single crystal 16 from a melt 15 that is collected in a crucible 10 is disclosed. The heat shielding member 20 is provided with an approximately cylindrical main body portion 21 arranged so as to surround the single crystal 16, with a lower end portion thereof extending to the vicinity of the melt 15, and an approximately annular bottom plate portion 22 that extends in the diameter direction from the bottom end portion of the main body portion 21 to cover the melt. The bottom plate portion 22 is attached to the main body portion 21 in the state of being severed in the circumferential direction at at least one location. With this constitution it is possible to provide a heat shielding member with superior durability and a single crystal pulling device that employs the heat shielding member.
