摘要： An ink jet recording apparatus performing recording by discharging ink onto a recording medium is provided with a conveying belt for conveying the recording medium by the attraction of static electricity, an electrode provided to be in contact with the recording medium conveyed by the conveying belt, and a power source capable of charging the electrode with the charge which has the polarity opposite to the charge carried by the conveying belt. The main droplet and satellite split from the ink droplet are impacted on the recording medium to prevent the adhesion of the satellite to the discharging port of the discharging surface of the recording head, thus maintaining desirable recording for a long time.

摘要： In an image recording apparatus having a recording head, recording may be interrupted (for example, to permit transfer of new image data after a predetermined amount of recording is performed). Recording quality is maintained by compensating for the change in head temperature which occurs during the interruption. This is done by detecting the temperature of the recording head and/or counting the interruption time, and driving the recording head in a stand-by mode or correcting the image signal in accordance with the temperature difference between interruption and resumption of recording.

摘要： An image recording apparatus has a stand-by mode in which a recording operation is interrupted during recording for stand-by. The apparatus includes a recording head for recording on a recording medium, a head temperature detecting device for detecting the temperature of the recording head, a memory device for storing temperature information detected by the head temperature detecting device when recording in the stand-by mode is interrupted, a stand-by time counting device for counting an interruption time for recording operation in the stand-by mode, and a head driving controlling device for transmitting a driving signal to the recording head. The controlling device is responsive to a temperature stored in the temperature memory device and an interruption time calculated by the stand-by time counting device on resumption of a recording operation after it is interrupted and the apparatus is placed in the stand-by mode.

摘要： A recording medium in the sheet form is supplied into a designated direction guided by a sheet supply roller. An ink jet recording head in which a plurality of ink jet discharging orifices are arranged is placed in parallel with a surface of the recording sheet and in the direction perpendicular to the designated direction of supplying the recorded sheet. An adjustment screw is placed for correcting a warped shape of the ink jet recording head by means of displacing a neighbor of a central portion of a longer side of the ink jet recording head in the designated direction of supplying the recording sheet.

摘要： An apparatus for transmission, reception and recording of an image, such as a facsimile apparatus, capable of correcting the unevenness in density or improper density resulting from fluctuation in the performance of the recording head of the receiving unit, with a limited amount of data transfer. At the start of communication, correction data for uneven or improper density of the recording head are sent from the receiving unit to the transmitting unit. The transmitting unit corrects the multi-value image data to be transmitted, based on the received correction data, and sends the corrected image data after conversion into binary state. The receiving unit receives the binary image data and effects image recording. The time and cost for data transmission can be reduced, as the correction is conducted at the transmitting unit and the data transmission can be made in binary data.
