摘要: A computer-readable recording medium recording a service control program whereby providable services can be determined by using highly secure information. A device detector collects, via a controller, service profiles of devices connected to a network, and also acquires identification information of the controller. A usage condition acquisition unit acquires, from a management database, usage conditions for using nearby devices. An available service decision unit determines available services which can be provided by one or more devices including those on the network and which meet the usage conditions. A device controller remotely controls the device which is used for providing an available service among those determined by the available service decision unit, to provide the available service.

摘要: A readhead control mechanism serves to control a readhead included in an optical encoder that measures a mechanical displacement between a fixed portion and a movable portion by reading out a gradation mark on a scale provided on the fixed portion, by using the readhead that is provided on the movable portion. The readhead mechanism includes a securing member that secures the readhead onto the movable portion, an actuator that is directly or indirectly secured onto the readhead to shift the readhead in an approaching direction or in a distancing direction, and an actuator controller that controls the actuator to maintain a constant distance between the readhead and the scale.

摘要: A phase difference detecting device includes a splitter for splitting laser beams into a first group which will travel along a first path and a second group which will travel along a second path, a beam selection/extraction unit for selecting, as reference light, one beam from the first group to allow it to pass therethrough, a path length changing unit for changing the length of the first path, a combining unit for combining the reference light and beams which construct the second group to produce interference light, and a detector for detecting the intensity of the interference light. The device changes the length of the first path using the path length changing unit to detect a path length which maximizes the intensity of the interference light for each of the beams which construct the second group, and determines a phase difference among the beams from the detected path length.

摘要: Provided are a small-sized, low-cost, and easy-to-use laser optical path length difference detecting device, a laser optical path length difference detecting device, and a coherent optical coupling device. The laser optical path length difference detecting device detects an optical path length difference between propagation paths of a first laser beam (1) and a second laser beam (2), which are mutually coherent when the beams are propagated through two arbitrary optical paths of a plurality of laser beam optical paths. The laser optical path length difference detecting device is provided with an optical path length difference variable means (4) for changing the optical path length difference between the first laser beam (1) and the second laser beam (2), a wavefront inclination generating means (5) for inclining a wavefront of at least one of the first laser beam (1) and the second laser beam (2), and a two-dimensional detector (6) for detecting the interference light intensity distribution of the first laser beam (1) and the second laser beam (2) which have passed through the wavefront inclination generating means.

摘要: A grating alignment device performs alignment of two or more plane gratings so as to eliminate an angular misalignment and a phase misalignment which are caused between respective diffracted light beams generated when incident light is diffracted by the plane gratings. Specifically, alignment is performed by appropriately adjusting an angle A, an angle B, an angle C, a coordinate Z, and a coordinate X of the second plane grating so as to eliminate at least one of the angular misalignment and the phase misalignment which are caused between the respective diffracted light beams generated when incident light is diffracted by the first plane grating and the second plane grating.

摘要: A boundary apparatus on the transmission side provided on the boundary between an IP network accommodating a transmitting terminal and an ATM network separates the requests for bandwidth which are received from receiving terminals via boundary apparatuses on the reception side into a plurality of groups on the basis of a required bandwidth, establishes a point-multipoint connection between the boundary apparatus on the transmission side and each of the boundary apparatuses on the reception side for each group, and transmits the data from the transmitting terminal to each of the receiving terminals via the connection. When there is a change in the number of the requests for bandwidth due to the delivery of a new request for bandwidth or the interruption of a flow of requests, the boundary apparatus on the transmission side calculates the effective bandwidth allocation ratio of the group in which there is a change in the number of the requests for bandwidth, and if the effective bandwidth allocation ratio is not more than a preset value, the boundary apparatus separates the requests belonging to the group into two groups, and establishes a connection for each group.

摘要: A storage unit includes an alarm state/timer table, an alarm state table, an alarm state OR-representation table, an alarm state change OR-representation table, an alarm state latch circuit, and a statistical information memory. A collection unit extracts the identifier and data from a cell that passes through a switching unit. An update unit updates associated data in the storage unit. A readout unit reads the updated data and sends it to a call processing processor. An address generation section selectively generates the address for data needing to be updated. An adjustment section forces the readout unit to wait until a cell slot arrives in which no data is updated.
