In some aspects, an encoding device may determine a least reliable subset of information bits included in a set of information bits that includes a predefined active set of information bits to be encoded; may determine a codeword bit to be added to a codeword based at least in part on the least reliable subset of information bits, wherein adding the codeword bit to the codeword improves reliability of the least reliable subset of information bits; may add the codeword bit to the codeword; and may transmit the codeword. 摘要: The apparatus of wireless communication is a UE. The UE out of coverage of any base station may operate in a VLP mode and set a signal transmission power to a first power level. The UE may detect and connect to a base station, switch the power mode of UE based on a power mode of the base station connected by the UE, and switch the signal transmission power from the first power level to the second power level greater than the first power level. When the UE detects equal to or more than two base stations, the UE may select the base station from the equal to or more than two base stations detected based on a condition and connect to the base station selected from the two detected base stations.

摘要: A method of wireless communication, by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving downlink semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configurations. The method also includes receiving a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission for each of the plurality of SPS configurations. Each PDSCH transmission has no associated physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). The method further includes determining whether successful decoding of each of the PDSCH transmissions occurred. The method further includes generating a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook for the PDSCH transmissions based on the determining. The method also includes transmitting the HARQ codebook in a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) only when at least one ACK is present in the HARQ codebook.

摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communications and, more particularly, to methods and apparatus for rate-matching a stream of bits encoded using polar codes. An exemplary method generally includes determining a target coding rate, RT, for transmitting a group of K information bits, based on a first coding rate, R1, corresponding to a first target block error rate (BLER) for a first transmission of a first redundancy version (RV) of the packet and a second coding rate, R2, corresponding to a second target BLER for a last transmission of a last RV of the packet; determining a circular buffer size, N, of a circular buffer for use in transmitting the first RV and the last RV of the packet; generating encoded information bits from the K information bits using a polar code having a mother code size of N; writing the encoded information bits to the circular buffer; determining a maximum number of retransmissions, based on a latency requirement for the packet; generating different RVs from the encoded information bits in the circular buffer, each RV based on a corresponding target BLER; and transmitting the first RV via a wireless medium.

In some aspects, if a device's first transmission including encoded data and parity information (subject to puncture) fails, the device's retransmission (e.g., in response to a NAK) involves transmitting the parity information that was punctured. In some aspects, the coding rate used for encoding the data for the first transmission is selected to meet an error rate (e.g., a block error rate) for the second transmission. The second transmission may also include repetition information that includes the encoded data. The repetition information could also include at least a portion of the encoded parity information.
