Abstract: A system and method of providing a mechanism for determining control information, such as PDSCH scheduling delay and/or HARQ-ACK delay. The system and method include receiving, by a wireless communication device from a wireless communication node, a control signal indicating one of a plurality of physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) scheduling delays and one of a plurality of hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) delays; receiving, by the wireless communication device from the wireless communication node, based on the PDSCH scheduling delays, a PDSCH; transmitting, by the wireless communication device to the wireless communication node, based on the HARQ-ACK delays, a HARQ-ACK that corresponds to the received PDSCH.

Abstract: A system and method for allocating network resources are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the system and method are configured to perform: broadcasting at least one message indicating first and second formats. The first format is used by a plurality of wireless communication devices to send respective first random access preambles and the second format is used by the plurality of wireless communication devices to send respective second random access preambles. The first and second formats respectively correspond to first and second cell coverage ranges of a wireless communication node, wherein the second cell coverage range is greater than the first cell coverage range.

Abstract: Provided are a signal transmitting method and apparatus, a storage medium and an electronic apparatus for random-access signal transmissions. The method includes determining resources for a random-access signal in a region that comprises 36 subcarriers and six symbol groups. The six symbol groups are assigned indices 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, and a subcarrier index occupied by a symbol group is determined based on determining a first subcarrier index occupied by a neighboring symbol group, and determining the subcarrier index based on the first subcarrier index and an offset value. The method also includes transmitting the random-access signal using the determined resources.
