Abstract: Methods and systems for handling UE associated information in non-terrestrial networks are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method performed by a satellite head station, includes: translating a first uplink (UL) tunnel address associated with a core network to a second UL tunnel address associated with the satellite head station, wherein the first and second UL tunnel addresses are each associated with a packet data unit (PDU) session established between the core network and a user equipment device (UE); transmitting the second UL tunnel address to a first satellite base station; and receiving UL data associated with the PDU session from the first satellite base station, wherein a UL tunnel address destination associated with the received UL data is set as the second UL tunnel address.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for the design of symbol-group based spreading schemes are described. An exemplary method for wireless communication includes transmitting, by a terminal, a first spread signal that is generated by spreading a first group of N data symbols using a first set of N sequences, where N is a symbol-group length, L is a spreading length, each of the first set of N sequences is from an orthogonal spreading sequence set that comprises L sequences, and each of the L sequences is of length L. Another exemplary method for wireless communication includes transmitting, by a network node, an indication of a first set of N sequences, and receiving a first spread signal comprising a group of N data symbols spread using the first set of N sequences.

Abstract: A wireless communication method includes a network node that transmits to one or more communication nodes a set of parameters for selection of a multiple access transmission scheme from a plurality of multiple access transmission schemes, such as an orthogonal multiple access (OMA) scheme and a non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) scheme. The network node receives data transmitted by a communication node using the multiple access transmission scheme selected by the communication node.
