    摘要: Described are drainage catheter hub devices which seal the hub from leakage when connected to a catheter. The catheter hub includes a hub body having an aperture with a sealing element mounted therein and a fluid passageway that communicates with the aperture. The fluid passageway and sealing element are configured to receive a tension member. A lever arm attached to the hub body is operable to secure the position of the tension member in the sealing element in a locked position or allow movement of the tension member through the sealing element in an unlocked position. The lever arm is configured to engage and compress the sealing element to block fluid flow through the sealing element and the aperture when the lever arm is in any position. The hub body may include a centering tab to align the tension member along a longitudinal axis of the hub body.

    摘要: A stent comprises a framework that includes a sequence of cells that each occupy a discrete segment of the stent length, and each of the cells includes a plurality of struts with ends connected at respective vertices. An adjacent pair of the cells are attached to one another by a plurality of T-bars that each include a column defining a long axis that extends parallel to the stent axis, and a top bar attached to one end of the column. An opposite end of the column is attached to a first cell, and the top bar is attached at opposite ends to a second cell of the adjacent pair of cells. The column has a minimum width perpendicular to the long axis that is wider than a maximum width of each of the struts, and the column defines at least one slot. The top bar includes a curved edge on an opposite side from the column, and the curved edge straddles the long axis.

A tubular graft body of the prosthesis defines a main lumen extending between an inflow end and an outflow end of the graft body. A stent structure is coupled along the graft body. A trough is at least partially defined by a trough wall extending into the main lumen from a sidewall of the graft body. A side branch defines a branch lumen and extends from the trough within the main lumen towards one of the inflow or outflow ends of the graft body. A branch lumen facing surface of the trough wall is a continuous surface with an outer surface of the sidewall of the graft body. A boundary of the trough may be configured to provide a smooth transition surface between the trough and the sidewall.

    摘要: The present embodiments provide delivery systems for facilitating orientation of a prosthesis in a bodily passage. In one example, a system comprises an inner cannula having proximal and distal regions, and further comprises an atraumatic tip having a proximal end, a distal end, and a central region disposed therebetween. At least a portion of the atraumatic tip may be coupled to the proximal region of the inner cannula. A plurality of orientation struts are provided having a retracted delivery state, an expanded deployed state, and a retracted withdrawal state. The plurality of orientation struts each have apices that are oriented proximally relative to the atraumatic tip in the retracted delivery state, are oriented radially outward relative to the atraumatic tip in the expanded deployed state, and are oriented distally relative to the atraumatic tip in the retracted withdrawal state.

    摘要: A closure mechanism for closing a tubular portion of a graft that includes a closure element having aperture or looped ends. The closure element is provided around the circumference of a tubular length of graft material and is attached thereto. The closure element is biased into an annular profile by threading a release element through the ends holding them together. In its annular profile, the closure element thus holds the lumen of the tubular length of graft material in an open configuration. Withdrawal of the release element causes the closure element to take on a flat/linear profile, pulling the lumen closed as it does so. The closure mechanism can be used in a vascular implant such as a graft, stent graft, including tubular, bifurcated, and branched stent grafts, an occlusion device, or the like.
