    摘要: A coupling device for connecting a wheeled agricultural implement having driven working members to a tractor includes a towing connection and a hydraulic motive power transfer with a hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump is connected to the power take-off of the tractor and to a hose connection connected at its other end with a hydraulic motor on the implement. For pivotal coupling of a drawbar connected with the implement, the towing connection includes a towing device permanently connected with the drawbar adapted to be rigidly, but releasably connected with the ordinary towing means of the tractor, e.g. the lowermost lift arms. To improve its maneuvering ability, the towing device is provided with a linkage positioned behind the rearmost point of the tractor and pivotally connected with the drawbar.

    摘要: A hitch assembly for interconnecting an agricultural tool with a towing vehicle to allow relative angular vertical articulation between the tool and vehicle during use and to lock rigidly with the tool for transport. The hitch includes two pivotably interconnected frames. A first wheel supported frame is adapted to be connected to the towing vehicle. The second frame is adapted to be rigidly connected to the tool. A control mechanism operates from the vehicle hydraulic system and is connected between the frames. The mechanism is operative to lock the frames together rigidly or to unlock the frames for relatively free pivotal movement. The control means includes provisions for tipping the tool forward and downward as it is being lowered to a ground-working, operative position. The effective height of the frames can also be varied to correspond with the height of the tool at its ground-working operative position.

    摘要: An agricultural planting system comprises an implement configured to be coupled to a work machine, row units of the implement, and first and second pairs of wheels configured to pivot and rotate to facilitate a turning operation during forward travel of the planting system. The row units are arranged in first and second ranks depending on their forward-aft placement. Furrow openers of the first rank of row units are configured to contact the ground along a first contact line, and furrow openers of the second rank of row units are configured to contact the ground along a second contact line. During a turning operation, the implement turns about a turning center axis, and the first and second pairs of wheels pivot in opposite directions, which allows the first and second contact lines to remain equidistant from the turning center axis during the turn.
